ANNOUNCEMENT
Dear Colleagues,
The Secretariat is happy to announce the launching of the GEF Project Data Validator which
can be accessed through the Project Management Information System (PMIS). This new feature
allows Agencies to validate their project data entries by scanning their completed templates for
possible errors, and work toward correcting them before submitting to the GEF Secretariat. To
make the Validator work, the Agencies must start using the coded (not noticeable) templates as
currently posted in the GEF website. Please watch the short video at
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqzhHLewyD8 for instructions.
Should you need additional guidance or training, please contact our Business Solutions Officer,
Juman Byun, who is behind this innovation.
With best regards,
Ramon C de Mesa
Operations Officer
