Dear Participants,

Welcome to the 2017 Commonwealth Cybersecurity Forum.

Over the past couple of years, cybersecurity has gained significantly more in attention from our member governments. Many of them have now developed a national cybersecurity strategy or are in the process of drafting one, whilst others are at implementation stage. As much as possible, we must maintain this positive momentum, hence the theme of this year’s event: “Cybersecurity: From Strategy to Implementation.”

With time we are beginning to develop effective tools, processes and a shared culture that, together, better protect privacy, data and critical infrastructure. But new threats will continue to emerge and this year we are honoured to have with us speakers and organisations whose expertise in cybersecurity is among the best and continues to grow, including for new threats. They will share with us the latest trends and solutions that help make cyber space safer for all of us.

I wish you a fruitful event and a pleasant stay in London.
