Day 4: Today, we would like you to think a little bit about your journey as a reader, from the very first books you enjoyed, to the kinds of things you like to read now (and perhaps even things you might want to read in the future!) All of us have books from our childhood which bring back vivid memories (why not ask your parents what their favourites were?) and you will have your own books which you have enjoyed throughout your own lives. Once you have had a think about the books which have been most important to you consider exactly what you liked about these books and make a few notes. Once you have done this you may want to try presenting your ideas in an inventive way such as a poster or PowerPoint presentation (we've included an example from a teacher below) We'd love for your reading journey to be something we can share with other children from EYFS all the way up to Year 6 so that others might feel inspired to read some of the books you have enjoyed.

clues. Does the website have an About

page? Is it clear who the author of the

page is? If so, is it someone well-known?

Is it the site of a sponsor or fan (and so maybe mostly positive)?

If the information is negative, can you find out more about the site or source of the criticism?

Is it just one person’s opinion/blog or does it seem to be balanced?

If it’s a news site, is it a well-known one you feel you can trust? If not you might want to do a search on it to see if people feel it tries to present information in a balanced way.

Give each website a rating out of 3 3 = tip-top reliable 2 = best to double check with an adult 1 = I definitely wouldn’t rely on this site for informationhttps://beinternetlegends.withgoogle.com/en_uk/interland/landing/reality-river
