Railroad or its running repair agent, as listed in the Running Repair Agent category in FindUs.Rail, will furnish billing car repair data record to car owner. Repairs must be submitted per Office Manual Rule 112.G.

Revised Rule 3.B.13-14:
13. During accelerated application, valve operation of the NYAB DB-20 emergency portion, air may be observed escaping from the interface of the side cover and body. This is air which is being released to exhaust by the operation of the accelerated application valve and does not constitute a condemnable leak is acceptable (see Rule 4, Figures 4.12 and 4.13).
14. During release valve operation, an intermittent escape of air may be noted around the bottom cover of the release valve. During the initial stages of a brake application, an intermittent escape of air may be noted around the bottom cover of the service portion. This is air that is being released to exhaust by operation of the valve portion and does not constitute a condemnable leak is acceptable (see Rule 4, Figures 4.12 and 4.13).

Angle cock rebuild kits that include internal seals, O-rings and ball assembly may be used in field or on repair track using Job Code 1169 provided that the casing is in good condition and free of contaminants. Angle cock/end cock handles and top caps can be replaced in field only, per Job Code 1161. After replacement, verify function of the angle cock and continuity of the trainline.
