SOCIAL DISTANCING PLAN

EVENT ATTENDEES VOLUNTARILY ASSUME ALL RISKS RELATED TO

The following plan is designated at this time for The Last Minute Cluster of Dog

Shows and subject to change. Failure to comply could subject the individual to

being removed from the grounds and/or disciplinary action in accordance with

AKC's Dealing with Misconduct booklet.

1. NO SPECTATORS ARE ALLOWED. THESE SHOWS ARE CLOSED TO

GENERAL PUBLIC. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR ACCESS PASS ON YOU AT ALL

TIMES, EVEN WHEN SHOWING. All attendees (officials, judges, stewards,

exhibitors and all workers) are required to follow state, local and facility guidelines

in effect at the time of the event.

2. EXPOSURE TO COVID-19. If you have been recently in the presence of a

person who has either tested positive for Covid-19 or has symptoms (coughing,

sneezing, temperature), please stay home. If you are ill, feel unwell, coughing,

sneezing or running a temperature, please stay home. All attendees are expected

to adhere to social distancing guidelines and are required to wear a face covering.

MASKS ARE REQUIRED IN BUILDING, UNDER TENTS, RINGS AND VENDOR

AREAS.

3. Please remember to bring personal face coverings, hand sanitizer, gloves,

cleaning wipes, etc. for your own personal use.

4. Exhibitors and all participants should SANITIZE hands as frequently as possible.

Sanitizing stations will be provided throughout the facility for use.

5. WE WILL BE FOLLOWING THE SHOW AND GO PHILOSOPHY: To minimize

the number of persons near the rings at any one time, be aware of and adhere to

your scheduled times. Do not arrive at your designated location more than 15

minutes prior to your scheduled time and exit the area upon completion of your

participation. Every ring will have ringside crating available in designated areas

only. Each ring will have an entrance and an exit gate to cut down on traffic. Each

ring will also have tables for self-serve ring numbers and for ribbons and trophies.

6. NO OVERNIGHT CRATING DUE TO COVID-19, SO THAT BUILDING CAN BE

DEEP-CLEANED EACH NIGHT.

7. Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the building and under the

tents.

This Show will be held in compliance with COVID-19 state and local public health

guidelines. Facility and host club safety rules will be updated as the Virginia

Department of Public Health releases new requirements. Please be patient and

understanding as we work to provide a safe environment for all.

I understand that a valid entry requires my agreement to the guidelines set forth in

this waiver by The Wilmington Kennel Club, Penn Treaty Kennel Club, Greater

Philadelphia Dog Fanciers Association, Chesapeake Kennel Club of Maryland, The

Meadow Event Park, Site Control and RAU, Inc.

I have read, understand, and agree to the following rules and procedures set forth

in this October 2020 Dog Show Cluster waiver.

• To the best of my knowledge, I do not have COVID-19.

• I have not been exposed to COVID-19 within the last 3 weeks.

• I have had no symptoms (fever, cough, etc.) for 14 days or more.

• I know that all dogs will be gaited individually and not in a group.

• I agree to wear a mask in the building and under the show tent at all times.

• I agree to practice social distancing and frequent hand washing/sanitizing.

• I understand that if I do not comply with these guidelines or refuse to comply, I

will be asked to leave the show and entry fees will be forfeited.

I am entering this show at my own volition and am responsible for my own health.

The Wilmington Kennel Club, Penn Treaty Kennel Club, Greater Philadelphia Dog

Fanciers Association, Chesapeake Kennel Club of Maryland, The Meadow Event

Park, Site Control or RAU, Inc., are in no way liable for any present or future

COVID-19 infection incurred at any time by any person, in attendance or not in

attendance, before, during, or after this show.

Notice to Exhibitors

Vehicle lights must be left on while loading and unloading.

With the exception of Handicapped and official club business, motorized scooters will not be allowed.

All persons and animals on the event grounds at any time while the events are in progress, do by attending

these events or participating therein, grant to the clubs, or in persons to whom assignments of such rights

have been made in writing by authorized officers of the clubs, the right to photograph, televise, audiotape or

otherwise use their likeness and voice in any manner without further release or consent.

The kennel clubs are not responsible for the actions or products of the commercial vendors at these

events.

Warning: Due to incidences that have occurred at other shows, we highly recommend that you do not leave

dogs unattended in cars, exercise pens or motor homes; and we suggest that you secure your crates for the

safety of your dogs.

No retractable/flexible leads allowed near the show rings.

NO SAVING OF PARKING SPACES .

The welfare of an exhibitor’s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the exhibitor. It is distinctly

understood that exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children on each day of the events.

Parents must be responsible for their children. Children must be kept under supervision at all times.

For your child's safety baby strollers are not allowed in the building.

THE LAST MINUTE CLUSTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANY ANIMAL IN DISTRESS

FROM A PARKED VEHICLE OR CRATE, AND ALL PERSONS ATTENDING THESE DOG EVENTS

HEREBY WAIVE ANY CLAIM FOR DAMAGES AGAINST THE CLUBS FOR SUCH REMOVAL .

Site will be available for RV s at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday.

Doors locked from 8:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.

Parking Fee $5.00 per car per day or $20.00 for five days.

NO OVERNIGHT CRATED DOGS.

Crate identification labels and contact numbers are required.

Ample trash cans will be available in the show areas. Please help us keep the show grounds clean.

Exhibitors & handlers will be responsible for clean conditions in and around their crates & vehicles.

NO SPACE FOR UNENTERED DOGS. NO SPECTATORS.

NO PRIVATE X-PENS INSIDE. NO INDOOR GROOMING. SHOW AND GO ONLY.

ABSOLUTELY NO SHAVINGS IN PRIVATE X-PENS OUTSIDE OR ON GROUNDS .

No gasoline or diesel generators are permitted inside any building or within 100 feet of any tent on this

show site.

The Clubs and their Superintendent caution all persons entering the show site and show grounds against

all hazards which may exist, including, but not limited to: Condition of the site/grounds,

parking/loading/unloading areas, entrances, floors and stairways, elevators and escalators, floor coverings,

walkways, tenting/canopies, electrical appliances, cords and fittings, exercise pens, and the presence of

animals. All persons should take into consideration this is a sporting event and dress, act and exercise

caution appropriate for the activity involved. All persons entering the show, the grounds, site and show areas

for whatever purpose do so entirely at their own risk. By virtue of entering the show, the entrant has indicated

their acceptance of the terms listed in this premium list and assumes all risks involved.

PUBLICATION RIGHTS: By entering this show, all owners, handlers, breeders and kennels agree that all

rights to televise, videotape, photograph, advertise, promote and publicize or otherwise exploit this show, or

the persons or animals participating in it or the results of the competition before, during or after the event,

shall belong solely to The American Kennel Club and their respective assigns, including the use of the names,

likenesses or biographical matter of all dogs, owners, handlers, breeders and kennels participating in the

show and no such owner, handler, breeder or kennel shall allow any other party to make commercial use of

any videotape or photograph of any person or animal participating in this competition.

The Last Minute Cluster

RV & Reserved Prime Parking

Overnight reservations are available on a first come, first served basis.

RVs may arrive on the grounds to park after 12:00 Noon Tuesday, October 20, 2020. The

fee is $45.00 per night per space. As available, those using electricity will incur an additional

fee. Priority is given to reservations for seven nights - Tuesday through Monday. RV parking

will be in assigned spaces and only one vehicle permitted per space. A tow unit with a trailer

is considered one vehicle. All units must be self contained. No waste or gray water may be

discharged onto the grounds. Confirmation will only be sent if a stamped self-addressed

envelope is included with the reservation request. This confirmation will include a reference

number which will help parking personnel direct you to your RV space quickly. Please include

a “self-addressed stamped envelope” for confirmation of reservation. If you wish to park next

to a particular party, the reservation applications must be received in the same envelope. No

cones or other means of saving space will be allowed unless directed by Site Control

personnel. Overnight parking is a privilege extended by the Meadows Event Park and The

Last Minute Cluster Clubs. No abusive or argumentative language will be permitted. Failure

to follow the rules or direction of the Officials on duty will cause the immediate forfeiture of all

parking privileges without refund of fees paid. Parking is strictly at the exhibitor’s own risk. The

Last Minute Cluster Clubs are not responsible for loss by fire, theft, damage or loss of

personal property or injury to the animal exhibits. Generators will be silent from 11:00 P.M.

until 5:00 A.M. There is no Handicapped parking for Recreational Vehicles.

An AKC RECORDING FEE of $.50 and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each dog enteredat any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. If a dog is entered in more than one classin one of these events, the AKC Recording Fee and Service Fee is to be collected on the first entry only. NO ENTRY SHALL BE MADE AND NO ENTRY SHALL BE ACCEPTED WHICH SPECIFIES ANY CONDITIONS

AS TO ITS ACCEPTANCE.

ENTRY FEES shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge,or barred from competition by action of Show Committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyondthe control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the show, no refund of entry fee will be made.

ERRORS ON ENTRY BLANKS. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may makesuch errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the publishedclosing date.

NO REFUND FOR DUPLICATE ENTRIES. We will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, but if a dog hasbeen processed, no refund will be made.

CONSULT JUDGING PROGRAM FOR TIME OF JUDGING.

DOGS MAY ARRIVE any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. DOGS NOT REQUIRED for further judgingwill be excused.

JUDGES WILL NOT WAIT FOR ANY DOG HOLDING UP A CLASS. Owners or agents alone are responsible forthe presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged.The show-giving club and the superintendent have no obligation or responsibility for providing service through apublic address system or stewards or runners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought into thering when required.

ALL DOGS PRESENT must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in theexercising ring.

CLASS CASH PRIZES will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be madein the ring before the judging of that breed is over, and the Superintendent to be advised at once. The Superintendentand Show-giving Club may disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of the breed is over.

NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED.An administrative fee of $2.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries. Please remember our members at the gate are volunteers. Any abuse of our gate workers may result in a benchshow hearing.

Best Owner-Handled in Show Competition - National Owner-Handled SeriesAll Five Days

The AKC Owner/Handled Series is a non-titling competition for dogs that are exhibited by their owners whoare not professional handlers. This series of special competitions will be offered at dog shows across thecountry.

All dogs that are owner/handled and are not owned or exhibited by professional handlers' meet therequirements for this competition. Exhibitors must declare their dog is Owner/Handler eligible at the time ofentry using the check box on the entry form. Eligible dogs will be identified by an asterisk in the steward'sbook and the catalog. Dogs must be handled throughout the competition by an eligible owner.Professional handlers may not exhibit the dog in this competition.

The Owner Handled Best of Breed will be selected from the dogs that are eligible to compete in the Best ofBreed competition including Winners Dog, Winners Bitch and winners of the non-regular classes.

! If the Best of Breed/Variety winner is Owner-Handled competition eligible, it will automatically beOwner Handled Best of Breed/Variety and be eligible to compete in both the regular as well as theOwner-Handled Group.

! If the Best of Breed/Variety winner is Owner-Handled competition ineligible and the Best of OppositeSex to Best of Breed/Variety will compete against the eligible undefeated exhibits of the owner sexto determine Owner-Handled Best of Breed/Variety.

! If the Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed/Variety are both ineligible and SelectDog and Select Bitch are both eligible, the judge is to choose Best Owner-Handled exhibit from theSelects and eligible Winners Dog or Winners Bitch.

! If one of the Selects is eligible, excuse all dogs of the same sex and then choose Best Owner-Handled exhibit from the remaining dogs of the opposite sex including the eligible Winners.

! If Best of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed, Select Dog & Select Bitch are ineligible, thejudge may choose any eligible dog remaining in the ring including Winners Dog or Winners Bitch asOwner-Handled Best of Breed/Variety.

The breed will not be represented in the Owner-Handled Group if there is no eligible dog competing in theBest of Breed or in Best of Winners Competition.

*Professional handlers are defined as any person who belongs or has belonged to aprofessional handlers' organization, distributed rate cards, or otherwise advertised orrepresented themselves as handling dogs for pay or received payment for handling adog.

A judge requesting the use of a ramp must give notice to the show superintendent/show secretary prior tojudging. AKC approval is not required.The entire entry in a breed is to be examined in the same manner (ground, table or ramp).At the discretion of the judge, the following breeds may be judged on the ground or on a ramp through alllevels of competition including Group and Best in Show judging: Clumber Spaniel, English SpringerSpaniels, Field Spaniels, Sussex Spaniels, Welsh Springer Spaniels, Irish Terriers, Kerry Blue Terriers,Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Chinese Shar-Pei, Keeshonden, NorwegianBuhunds, Polish Lowland Sheepdogs and Norrbottenspets (Misc).At the discretion of the judge the following breed may be judged on the table or on a ramp through all levelsof competition including Group and Best in Show judging: Cardigan Welsh Corgis.At the discretion of the judge through all levels of competition including Group and Best in Show judging, thefollowing breeds may be judged on the ground, a ramp or on a table: Boykin Spaniels and Whippets.The following breeds must be judged on a ramp through all levels of conformation competition: BassetHounds, Bulldogs and Chow Chows. This extends to all conformation competition at AKC conformation doingshows and any AKC event where a conformation title may be earned. This policy includes Group,BIS, Junior Showmanship, the 4-6 Month Beginner Puppy Competition, the AKC National Owner-HandledSeries (NOHS), and all other special attractions that offers Group and BIS competitions.Ramps may be used in emergency situations to judge any ground breed. In an emergency situation, whereuse of a ramp is not indicated in the premium list, an exhibitor has the option of withdrawing their entry andreceiving a refund.For the judging of juniors the ramp may be used at the discretion of the judge for the ramp optional breeds.

day of the show and who, at the time entries close, have not won three First Places with competitionpresent in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.

NOVICE INTERMEDIATE CLASS: For Boys and Girls who are at least 12 years old and under 15 years oldon the day of the show and who, at the time entries close, have not won three First Places, withcompetition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.

NOVICE SENIOR CLASS: For Boys and Girls who are at least 15 years old and under 18 years old on theday of the show and who, at the time entries close, have not won three First Places, with competitionpresent, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.

OPEN JUNIOR CLASS: For Boys and Girls who are at least 9 years old and under 12 years old on the dayof the show and who, at the time entries close, have won three First Places, with competition present, ina Novice Showmanship Class at a licensed or member show.

OPEN INTERMEDIATE CLASS: For Boys and Girls who are at least 12 years old and under 15 years oldon the day of the show and who, at the time entries close, have won three First Places, with competitionpresent, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show.

OPEN SENIOR CLASS: For Boys and Girls who are least 15 years old and under 18 years old on the dayof the show and who, at the time entries close, have won three First Places, with competition present, ina Novice Showmanship Class at a licensed or member show.

MASTER CLASS: This Class will be for boys and girls who are at least 9 years old and under 18 years onthe day of the show, and who have won the 10 Best Junior wins with competition. The calendar for thisclass will consistent with the eligibility dates for the AKC Eukanuba National Championship. All Juniorsmeeting the criteria for this class are required to entry the Master Class and may change their entry theday of the show if entries have already closed. Once the eligibility time frame for that year has passedall participants return to the Open Class to complete for the following year.

BEST OF BREED (VARIETY) COMPETITIONThe classes are provided in all breeds and in each breed variety. Where certain classes are dividedby age, color, or weight, it is so noted in List of Breeds and MUST BE INDICATED ON ENTRYFORM.

Amateur-Owner-Handler - For dogs that are at least six months of age that are not champions.Dogs must be handled in the class by the registerd owner of the dog and is limited to exhibitorswho have not, at any point in time, been a professional dog handler, AKC approved conformationjudge, or employed as an assistant to a professional handler.

Bred-by-Exhibitor Class eligibility: All dogs entered in the Bred-by-Exhibitor Class must beindividually registered with the AKC. The Person handling the dog must be a breeder of recordof the dog and an owner of record of the dog. To exhibit in this class, family members must be abreeder and owner of record.

2. The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed Competition: Dogs that are Champions of Recordand dogs which, according to their owner's records, have completed the requirements for a championship, but whosechampionships are unconfirmed. The showing of unconfirmed Champions in Best of Breed competition is Limited to a periodof 90 days from the date of the show where the dog completed the requirements for a championship.

3. (Dog Show Class) Consult the classification in this premium list, if the dog show class in which you are entering your dog isdivided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog,i.e., age division, color division, weight division.

4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show closed. If a registereddog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any show for which entries closedafter the date of acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that thedog is recorded in his name.
