  • About

Idaho Show Sports is a sports program that has been in business for four years and has brought instruction to over 500 youth volleyball, basketball, baseball and softball players here in the Treasure Valley. We currently provide volleyball, basketball, softball club teams, skills camps/clinics, and private baseball/softball lessons. Most of our events and club team practices are located in Boise, ID.

  • Mission Statement Idaho Show Sports aspires to be a club sports organization that provides a high quality experience to every participant/athlete. A high quality experience is one in which every participant/athlete:

    ● Has the opportunity to improve overall performance through cross sport training.

    ● Is coached using the principle of positive coaching● Is coached using quality instruction● Has fun at practices and games● Learns the skills, tactics and strategies of the game and improves as a

player. ● Can focus on the process and not the club W/L record.● Learns "life lessons" that have value beyond the playing field.

  • Cross-training Cross-training is athletic training in sports other than the athlete's usual sport. The goal is improving overall performance. It takes advantage of the particular effectiveness of one training method to negate the shortcomings of another.

The benefits of cross training allow you to strengthen parts of your body other than the muscles, joints and ligaments used in your primary athletic activity. ... Research shows that athletes who cross train are often faster and less prone to injury than athletes who only practice one sport.
