2020 SEG|SPWLA 7th Workshop on Porous Media:Structure, Flow, and Dynamics14–16 August 2020 | Beijing, China

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTIONThe workshop will focus on advancing our understanding of porous materials, structures, and associated dynamics of both solid and fluid phases, including new physics, methods, and analysis. New development in theory, experimental methods, and applications will be included. In particular we are interested in the use of high-resolution imaging, digital simulation, and analytics techniques to gain insights and new applications. Our goal is to bring academia and industrial scientists of diverse disciplines together to share their discoveries and challenges.

ABSTRACT SUBJECTSWe invite abstracts for the following topics – oral and posters:• Porous materials, structures, and associated dynamics of both solid and fluid phase• New development in theory, experimental methods, and applications• High-resolution imaging, digital simulation, and analytics techniques

ABSTRACT FORMAT• At most four pages • Must be sufficiently explanatory for the committee to evaluate • Must be on A4-size paper, typed in 9-point, Roman font • Title must be one or two lines, at the top of the page, in 11-point size, bold font • Authors must be listed in 10-point size, Roman italic font, placed below the title • All text must stay one inch clear of the margins of the page • Submissions should be in Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat PDF format

本次研讨会将聚焦于深入理解孔隙介质、孔隙结构及固相和孔隙流体的动力学征，包括理论、方法及相关分析。涉及到岩石物理理论、实验方法和应用方面的最新进展，特别 是利用高分辨率成像、数值模拟和分析技术获得的新见解和新应用。研讨会将邀请学术界和工业界不同背景的专家齐聚一堂，共同探讨各自在岩石物理方面的新发现和新挑战。
