In April 2020 our exclusive tour to Scottsdale, Arizona and the 84th US Masters will feature games of golf at some of the world's best "Bucket List" golf courses and an opportunity to watch the world's most coveted golf tournament at Augusta National. This small luxury tour promises to be up there with life's best golfing experiences and together with Teed Up Golf Tours, I warmly invite you (and any of your golfing friends) to join me.

This tour will be based on a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 24 golfers and will feature premium accommodation, 5 rounds of golf including TPC Scottsdale (home to the Waste Management Phoenix Open), Troon North & the Grayhawk Raptor Course in Arizona as well as Sage Valley & Palmetto in Aiken, South Carolina. We will attend the best 3 days at the US Masters - the Par 3 Day on Wednesday, Round 2 on Friday and the Final Day on Sunday.

If taking a walk down Magnolia Lane, watching play at Amen Corner from your very own green Masters chair and being there it witness the presentation of the Green Jacket on Sunday is on your "Bucket List", then this trip is definitely for you!

DAY TWO - Friday April 3, 2020

This morning Peter has arranged a Tour to the PING Factory in Scottsdale. The newest PING clubs are on display and you can see what new products are on offer.

Golf at TPC Scottsdale - Stadium Course Designed by Jay Morrish and Tom Weiskopf, The Stadium Course was purpose-built to host the PGA Tours' Phoenix Open, and it has done so since 1987.

Designed with high drama in mind, the venue is well-known as one of the most exciting and fan- friendly in all of golf. Perhaps the most memorable hole on the 7,216-yard Stadium Course is the par five 15th which is in the mould of the famous 13th at Augusta National.

Evening: Welcome Drinks & Dinner with Peter at Hotel

DAY THREE - Saturday April 4, 2020 Golf at Troon North - Pinnacle Course

The Pinnacle Course at Troon North represents a stunning, challenging golf experience blended into the high Desert's natural beauty with steep arroyos, natural washed and forests of saguaros and desert foliage. Portions of some fairways are hidden behind boulders and hills. Hugh greens surrounded by large bunkers and sloping terrain challenge golfers on every approach shot.

Evening: Own arrangements

DAY FOUR - Sunday April 5, 2020

Golf at Grayhawk Golf Club - Raptor Course The Tom Fazio-designed Raptor Course offers a thrilling challenge that commands a player's respect through a daring, high- stakes game of risk and reward. Stretching 7.090 yards from the back tees, the par-72 course unfolds over the gentle hills and across shaded natural washes typical of this picturesque corner of the Sonoran Desert.

Typically, Raptor's fairways are generous, and the greens tend to be large, with a fair amount of undulation. Wayward approaches are duly penalized, as most of the greens are perched above deep bunkers and grass collection areas.

One-way transfer - 30 minutes travel time

Internal Domestic Economy Flight PHX (Phoenix) / ATL (Atlanta) Fare is included in tour cost.

Only 30 minutes to Augusta, Aiken comes to life during Masters Week. The bars and restaurants are full of locals making the golf visitors feel welcome. There are a number of excellent restaurants within walking distance from The Willcox. We can make restaurant bookings for you and ensure everyone has someone to dine with if they choose.

The South's Finest Hospitality Awaits You The Willcox was built in the 19th Century for “well-to-do" Yankees seeking warmth, light and high society. Today, as charming and graceful as ever, The Willcox continues to draw international guests who enjoy excellent service, wonderful accommodation, southern cuisine and the magic of historic Aiken, SC. Guest rooms at The Willcox are comfortable retreats beautifully appointed. All are quiet with lovely high ceilings, crown moldings, and restful cloud-soft beds blanketed in cool, crisp linen. Most have crackling fireplaces, and each has its own character.

DAY SIX - Tuesday April 7, 2020

Golf at Palmetto Golf Club The Palmetto Golf Club is a monument from the dawn of US golf. Established in 1872 the golf course is a par 71 layout and plays at 6,713 yards from the championship tees. What the course may lack in length it more than makes up for with its small elevated and undulating greens, and clever bunkers.

The course was re-designed by Allister McKenzie just after he completed Augusta National. Whilst it does not have the luxurious clubhouse and surroundings like many private American courses, it makes up for with history and challenge.

The green complexes at Palmetto are a delight and their current size is the result of Tom Doak's work, which pushed the putting surfaces outwards utilizing the existing mounds to great effect. Additionally, the bunkers were reworked under Doak's stewardship.

A light Lunch is included at the club after golf

Evening: Own arrangements

DAY SEVEN - Wednesday April 8, 2020 Par 3 Tournament

Early transfer to Augusta to walk the course and watch players practice before Par 3 begins.

Of all the traditions at the Masters, none is more endearing than the annual Par 3 Contest. This beloved event, held on Wednesday of Tournament Week and now televised around the world, is above all a family affair. Wives and girlfriends, children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews, all serve as caddies. The sight of toddlers outfitted in miniature Augusta National jumpsuits, toting a light bag or tending a flagstick more than twice their height, brings smiles to onlookers near and far.

Part competition, part stress relief on the eve of the crucible that is competing at the Masters, the Par 3 Contest dates back more than half a century. The varied field consists of Tournament participants and non-competing past champions. Together they wind their way around a short, nine- hole layout nestled in the northeast corner of the Augusta National grounds. The holes, ranging from 70 to 140 yards, play over DeSoto Springs Pond and Ike’s Pond. There have been 94 holes-in-one made over the years, including a record nine in 2016. The contestant who has the most favourable score against par after nine holes is declared the winner. Famously, no winner of the Par 3 Contest has ever gone on to triumph in the Masters the same year.

We recommend you buy a souvenir green chair today. These can be place anywhere on the course and will remain vacant until you return to them; a Masters tradition!

Evening: Own arrangements

Page 7: 2020 Scottsdale & US Masters Tour Peter Heiniger Group 3teedupgolftours.com/wp-content/...US_Masters_Tour_Peter_Heiniger_… · Group Departure Transfer Aiken to Atlanta International

DAY EIGHT - Thursday April 9, 2020

Golf at Sage Valley A mere 15 miles from Augusta National, in the rolling country side of South Carolina, lies the exclusive Sage Valley Golf Club. Opened in 2001 and designed by Tom Fazio, Sage Valley is extra special, and it's set to become a Top 100 High Flyer. As a member of Sage Valley, Teed Up has exclusive access to Masters Week tee times.

With significant elevation and stately pines, not to mention thousands of azaleas, streams and plenty of water. Sage Valley is as close to playing Augusta National as most people will ever get.

Lunch and individual caddies are included. After golf you will be back to The Willcox in time to watch the Masters 1st round TV coverage which starts at 3.00pm.

Evening: Own arrangements

DAY NINE - Friday April 10, 2020

US Masters Round 2 - 8:00am & 10:00am depart to Augusta.

Follow your favourite group around the course or place your deck chair at Amen Corner and watch all the groups come through. Head towards the 18th as players attempt to make the cut Regular transfers are provided back to your hotel from 4.30pm until 30 minutes after the end of play at Augusta. Evening: Own arrangements

DAY TEN - Saturday April 11, 2020

Rest Day OR Optional Golf at The Reserve - Nicklaus Course If you would like to play another round of golf on the day we are scheduled to have a "rest day" then we can arrange for you, or your group, to play at The Reserve - Nicklaus course, close to Aiken. The additional round is not included in your package and is at an extra cost.

Evening: Drinks and Dinner at The Willcox included this evening.

DAY ELEVEN - Sunday April 12, 2020

6:00, 8:00 and 10:00am departures to Augusta for US Masters Final Round Attend the final day's play of the Masters Tournament. As soon as you get there, place your chair around the 18th green or fairway so you will be able to see the climax of the Tournament. Wander the fairways following the leaders or base yourself at the 16th where Charley Hoffman scored a hole-in-one in 2018.

Shuttles will go regularly from 4.30pm. The last shuttle returning to Aiken from the Masters will be 30 minutes after the green jacket presentation which is held on the practice putting green outside the club house.

Evening: Farewell Dinner & Drinks at The Willcox

DAY TWELVE - Monday April 13, 2020

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions you should ask other tour operators are:

• Do deposits and payments go into a Travel Agent Trust fund so that the Travel Compensation Fund covers any operators or supplier who gets into trouble?

• Do the tours stay in nice towns close to Augusta, or, are they in motels and hotels out in

places like Colombia or Atlanta where transport to the course is difficult?

• Do tour guides with US Masters experience accompany the group or do they just sell US tour

companies’ packages rebranded as their own, and guests are left to their own devices?

• How do they source their Masters tickets? Can they give you a letter to email from their

ticket supplier confirming ticket availability?

• How long have they been running tours to the Masters?

• Can you see testimonials from previous attendees?

Why don’t we attend the Masters every day?

Apart from the high cost of the tickets, we have found that over the years you get too tired walking the course every

day. You are often surprised at how steep the course is. Additionally, after watching golf for two or three days, many

of our past guests prefer to go and hit some balls! 85% of previous attendees tell us that going on our chosen days

gives a good balance. However, we are flexible as to the days you attend the Masters and can arrange for you to

attend additional days.

Why don’t we stay in Augusta?

We choose not to stay in Augusta due to its limited accommodation and restaurant choices. Furthermore, traffic can be very heavy getting to the course from the north side where most people stay. In contrast, Aiken services a wealthy horse breeding area so the quality of restaurants and hotels are higher. It is only a 30-minute drive to the Augusta National course, avoiding the heavy traffic. 96% of attendees rated Aiken as an admirable alternative to stay in. Many tour operators in Australia also do not escort the tour personally, choosing to simply sell a tour on behalf of a local operator based in Augusta where guests are left to their own devices, often making the trip more demanding and riskier. Other operators book you into hotels in Colombia which can be a 90-minute drive to Augusta with traffic.

Are non-golfers welcome?

Yes! We welcome non-golfers, and at Pinehurst they have plenty of activities to fill their days. There is a large spa

with pool, treatment rooms and sauna to name a few. There are many shops in the Village and day trips can be

organized. We would recommend they attend at least one day at The Masters to appreciate the beauty of the

course. In Aiken there are also day trips that can be arranged, for example, horse treks, massages and plenty of

shopping! A 1-hour spa package at Pinehurst Resort and the Willcox Inn Spa is included in the VIP, Willcox, or

Carriage Inn Non-Golfer package as well.

We are able to answer all these questions favourably. Please ask us for the contact details of

previous tour attendees if you would like to talk to someone about the tour.
