Try something new this month!

If there is one thing I have learned since Covid has begun, it is that the activities I used to entertain myself throughout the day were no longer available. I needed to make a change; maybe even try something I’ve never done before.

Fall is a wonderful time to explore Oakville! From visiting Bronte Creek Provincial Park, to walking the numerous trails on the water, or walk part of the Trans Canada Trail which extends all the way from Toronto to Burlington, there are numerous choices. A relaxing drive through historic downtown Oakville and side streets can be fun also! Many, many homes are registered with The Historical Society of Oakville and will have a plaque with the original owners name and occupation fixed on their house through the mid 1800’s on. The Merchants, Shipbuilders, Tannery Workers etc gives us a small glimpse at what our beautiful town looked like in the past.
