MARINE 18 dry dockings including 8 full 5-year surveys. Replaced 90m 2 of hull plating and installed 62 new prefabricated ice strengthened frames in FV San Aspiring fish hold for ice class upgrade. Hook room upgrade San Aotea alongside at Lyttelton. Fully replaced transom and stern ramp plating on FV Amaltal Explorer, complete overhaul of CPP propeller and hub as part of 5 year docking survey. Main engine work on Talleys and Sanford vessels including in-situ machining of engine blocks. Major repairs and fishing equipment upgrades onboard Lyttelton based inshore fishing vessels. Re-located ice making and storage plant on #7 wharf. HIGHLIGHTS ENGINEERING / BOILER PROJECTS Installed and commissioned a fully automatic Maxitherm 4MW JDW woodchip fired boiler, designed and installed new piping at Canterbury Linen Services laundry facility. Designed and fabricated a 26m 3 Steam accumulator vessel for Kraft Heinz sterilisation facility, Hastings. Designed and fabricated a new Pressure Reducing Station for Synlait Milk, Dunsandel. Designed & fabricated 2 pressure surge vessels with bladders for new Lyttelton wastewater pumping station. Designed a new 6MW LPG / Biomass fired watertube boiler for OJI Fibre Solutions new packaging factory. Provided engineering design services for fishing vessel hatches and fish pound doors. INDUSTRIAL SITE WORK / BOILER SERVICING Installed and commissioned a new 2MW unattended boiler and new steam piping at Tegel Foods, Christchurch. Installed a replacement boiler economiser unit at Ravensdown Hornby acid plant. Boiler tube repairs on site at Alliance Lorneville, McCains Hastings, NZ Army Waiouru sites. Fully re-tubed and replaced section of rear tube plate in 6MW twin furnace John Thompson boiler. FABRICATION • Fabricated prototype track sections for Holmes

Solutions designed passenger transport system. • Manufactured 2 x 2000kg capacity re-locatable

ammonia storage vessels. • Fabricated 2 x 3 metre diameter isolation blanking

plates for Ohau A power station. • Manufactured new economiser ductwork for

Ravensdown Hornby works. • Supplied fabrication and welding services for Cashin

Quay strengthening works and new cruise berth construction at Lyttelton Port.

• Started fabrication of a 600kW 3 pass fire tube boiler for Reefton Distilling Co package boiler container.

HIGHLIGHTS…

FITTING & MACHINING • Survey & overhaul various ship controllable pitch

propellers, rudders, propeller shafts, gearboxes and sea valves.

• Machined internal tapers on 2 tonne ships’ rudders using wireless controlled taper turning attachment – this can be used with workshop machine or portable boring up to 2 metres diameter.

• Repairs to port cargo handling machinery including forklifts and log handlers.

• Provided fitting staff to assist customers with factory maintenance work at various including Fonterra Darfield.

• Machined hydraulic cylinders and a new high pressure salt press.

• Re-tubed 5 heat exchangers for Burwood hospital. GUARDWAY / ALUMINIUM WORKSHOP

• Developed a new balustrade system designed and independently tested to the highest standard AS1170.1 C5 overcrowding loads.

• Supplied over 300m of C5 rated balustrade system to HEB construction for the new LPC cruise terminal berth.

• Designed, fabricated and installed aluminium walkway on board oil tanker Kokako.

• Supplied Guardway handrail components for installation at Pukete waste water treatment plant.
