The Fluid Power Society of WA (Inc.) was incorporated in February 1977 and became The International Fluid Power Society of Australia Incorporated (IFPSA) in June 2006. When the first national fluid power society, Australian Fluid Power Society Inc. (AFPS), was incorporated in December 2014 to represent and champion the industry at a national level, the IFPSA then changed its name to Fluid Power Society (WA) Inc. (FPSWA) to show its relationship to the national body. AFPS is an associate member of the U.S. based International Fluid Power Society and promotes the U.S. Society’s aims and objectives in Australia which are those of promoting the growth of fluid power technology and facilitating fluid power and motion control industry professionalism through awareness, education and certification. In the same way, FPSWA strengthens and advances professional careers in the Western Australian fluid power industry. Golf Day. Previous Golf Days have provided many highlights over the years and this year will no doubt be the same.

Regardless of whether or not you are a seasoned golfer, a weekend hacker or don’t know a birdie from an eagle, come along to The Society’s 2020 Golf Day to meet industry colleagues and have a good old-fashioned dose of fun.

Competition Entry Fee: $80 per person

The competition entry fee includes the following:• 18 Holes of golf on one of Perth’s best

golf courses

• Shared motorised cart

• Post competition snacks

• Prizes for overall winners, runners up & third placed teams, nearest the pin on all par 3s & longest drives on all par 5s

Hartfield Country Club Dress CodeIt is a requirement of this competition that each competitor complies with the following Hartfield Country Club dress code:All players should always be tidily dressed in acceptable golf attire. Acceptable golf attire is a collared shirt or a recognised golf crew necked polo shirt tucked in; tailored slacks; tailored shorts with either long or short sport socks and enclosed soft-spiked golf shoes or flat-soled sport shoes, ankle socks are permitted. Not permitted on the course or in the club house: denim jeans, calf length shorts, tracksuit pants, cargo & stubbie shorts, drawstring shorts & pants,thongs, sneakers, socks finishing below the ankle & black socks,tee and denim shirts. Also shirts to be tucked in on the course.
