PASSPORT to EMPLOYMENTThe Passport to Employment program is designed to provide business, industry,

government, and the community with assurances regarding the skills andemployability of exceptional graduates from the Burlington County Institute of

Technology. The person who presents a Passport of Employment identifieshimself/herself as a skilled, responsible, productive adult who has been judged

worthy of a passport by virtue of the qualities listed and the recommendationof teachers and administrators.

In order to be eligible to be awarded a Passport, a graduating senior must have:• Passed the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers Assessment.• Demonstrated the ability to think critically, solve problems, reason, and make decisions.• Maintained a daily attendance of 95% or better. An outstanding predictor of future reliability.• Demonstrated good citizenship, obeyed rules, displayed proper conduct, worked well withothers regardless of race, sex, age, culture, or ethnicity.• Maintained an average of 3.0 in the career major area for the junior and senior years.• Demonstrated the qualities that employers judge to be most important for a successful worker.
