Welcome to SANN International College for Higher Studies - an energetically growing institution of quality education in Nepal. Our concern for promoting social, cultural, intellectual and physical aspects of the pupils has been a milestone for educating the students holistically.

SANN (Study of Ancient and New Nepal)

Established in 1989 AD, SANN is a dynamic learning and research center, which focused in the field of society, culture and history of Nepal in the past.

In 2000, it turned into a modern academic institution known as SANN International College for Higher Studies. By now It has developed into a multi-facated institution during the years with variety of academic and research programs.

It also works in collaboration with various universities across the globe especially for curriculum, faculty & student exchange.

The main purpose behind its establishment was to provide Nepalese students with quality education at the level of international standard. In order to achieve this target, It provides a world class learning facilities in a competitive but student-friendly atmosphere.

Semester in Nepal (SIN)SANN, founded in 1989, was originally a social science based research institute.

SANN Research Institute Started Semester in Nepal (SIN) and Semester Around the World Program for American and Nepali students to help them carry out research in the field of society, culture and history of Nepal.

SIN program was accredited by the University of ladaho and the Western Washington University and was tailored to suit undergraduate students seeking a comprehensive introduction to Nepali rich Hindu and Buddhist traditions, its multi-ethnic cultures and varied geography and strategic location. SIN was offered twice a year in spring & fall.

The students live with Nepalese host family located near Gairidhara while attending classes at the SANN college. These students travelled various parts of the country with the intent of gaining an in depth knowledge of Nepal.

Academic course work included:Nepali Language 6 Credits

Religion and culture of Nepal 3 Credits

Political History of Nepal 3 Credits

Ecology of Nepal/Photo Journalism 3 Credits

Semester Around the WorldSANN was accredited by the Western Washingon University for the program Semester Around the World. It started in the fall of 1989 with the objectives of giving an opportutnity for students to study global culture & history.

Biotechnology is poised to be the technology of 21st century. It is an inter disciplinary approach encompassing physics chemistry, biology, microbiology and molecular biology etc with computer science as an integral part. The technology is pivotal in modern medicine for disease etiology and medicinal candidate indentification, production of high value industrial compounds, development of bio-organic fertilizer insubstituting chemical fertilizers, soil amendment in increasing agricultural productivity and combating pathogens in agriculture, conservation biology and climate control among the many.

udergraduate program. The BBA Program aims to produce competent and

knowledgeable students with indepth understanding of business practices

and processes, understand the role of economics in the world marketplace,

and acquire an awareness of global business issues with an ability to adapt

quickly to the expectations of employers and the work.

Applicants must have secured 45% or ‘C’ in each subject in examination of +2 or

equivalent in any discipline from board recognized by Purbanchal University.

I heard the example of Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerburg , Bill Gates, Henery

Fords etc in most of motivation speech . They went to be the richest and successful

person in the world even after dropping school , college. This is probably the main reason for the

motivation speech to be presented between most of the students. Now let’s understand its technical

point. Is it the way to be successful to dropped or not to read the college? If this is the case, what the world will

return the poverty and ignorance. It is not best solution to identify the right education that you need . That is why success

is not in education. It is in the system and the same system college needed today...

Now let’s understand the mechanical aspect of education. For the success, only education is not enough, but the most important is

the relevant education. So, what kind of education is suitable for you? What is the subject of your interest, desire or love?

if identified, you would be in the list of the most successful people. Else, in the world, only 1% of the people are

successful, while, 99% of them are failures. It is those 99% of the people who are actually working very

hard just to make those 1% people successful. So, be very careful not to be among those 99%,

but try to be the people from that group of successful 1%.
