Tideman Boats is a boat building company based in The Netherlands. Our head office is located in Amsterdam, our factory in Opmeer and workshop in Middenmeer. In total we work together with 25 skilled craftsmen.Please visit us in Amsterdam for a test ride, or a tour around the nearby factory.

TIDEMAN, SINCE 1854

The magic is in the family. Boats have always played a major role in the history of the Tideman’s. It began with ancestor Bruno Johannes Tideman (1834 – 1883). Founder of modern ship building in The Netherlands. Well known in his time, he received a Royal decoration for his innovative ideas. After this Bruno Tideman many Bruno’s would follow in ship building industry, till today.

History repeats itself. In this day and age with Tideman Boats, founded by Bruno Tideman, who’s in the boat industry since 2006. Bruno dreams boats, he lives boats. Always designing and creating. Till he had found and built the perfect fast workboat for rough environments. The Tideman RBB, Rigid Buoyancy Boat.

RIGID BOUYANCY BOAT (RBB)

• Deep V hull with spray rails• No vulnerable tubes• Buoyancy compartments below deck filled with PE balls• More deck space• Indestructible removable TPU fenders• Moulded beam 2.30m, container fit

SUSTAINABILITY

• HDPE has a very low carbon footprint to produce compared to aluminium (20%)

• 100% recyclable, we can even use recycled PE sheets: cradle to cradle

• No anti fouling needed, HDPE has limited marine growth and only gets a special treatment with a Nano coating

• Durability, because the lifetime of our boats is much longer than conventional boats

OUTFITTING

Standard outfitting of each boat includes:• Removable TPU fender all around• PE removable fuel tank with gauge, filler and breather• LED navigation light• Automatic bilge pump installation• Switch panel • Battery switches• Anti-slip tape on deck• Engine hatch, T-top, console or cabin in sea grade aluminium

powder coated in any RAL colour• Aluminium deck hatches

environment. From high speed intercepting to dive support and

patrolling. From dredging support to crew tendering. Anchor handling

and survey tasks. One concept, five sizes, centre console or cabin.

And you choose the options to fit your requirements. Like propulsion,

fenders, seats and T-top. Smart, safe and strong. That’s a Tideman!

INBOARD DIESEL

We believe diesel engines are the most reliable, economical and safe way to power a high-speed workboat. These are the inboard diesel (160-440hp) options we can install:• Yanmar 4LHA, 4LV, 6LPA, 8LV and 6LY• Steyr SE• Volvo-Penta D4 and D6• Mercury QSD

We suggest only to use mechanical engines if the vessel is operation in region where the fuel quality is not to be trusted, modern electronic controlled common rail engines do suffer from polluted diesel. These engines will be powering an Alamarin water jet 245 and 285 or the sterndrive of the manufacturer of choice. We offer these propulsion packages only as a complete build.

OUTBOARD ENGINES

These are the outboard options we recommend, you may install these yourself but it is better if we do it:• Neander DTorque 50hp diesel• Mercury DSI 175hp 2-stroke diesel• OXE diesel 200hp• SOX diesel 300hp (available in 2018)

If it is preferred to use a gasoline outboard engines we suggest• Mercury• Yamaha• Honda• Suzuki• Evinrude

We can also offer electric Torqeedo propulsion packages using the Cruise 20hp and Deep Blue 40 or 80hp outboard engines with the required BMS and battery packs

SEATING

We do believe that adequate seating is needed for high-speed applications to provide a safe and non-fatigue workday. We recommend the following brands:• Cleemann (for use inside cabin)• Ullman jockey seats• Scot jockey seats• Shark jockey seats

CLASSIFICATION

• Built and designed according Directive 2003/44/EC (declaration of conformity CE-B/C), stability booklet ISO 12217

• Optional: Bureau Veritas: RBB 800 2WJ Hull construction drawings reviewed based on the applicable requirements of our Rules (NR600) and reference notations: X Hull, Light ship / fast crew boat, Sea area 2 Technical Note FPO-16-00429, dated 01 Feb. 2016

• Optional: Det Norske Veritas / Germanischer Lloyds rules for classification

OPTIONS

• Windscreen made from 10mm PMMA acrylate • T-top, foldabele, made from aluminium powder coated in

of choice• Self-righting system with airbag and CO2 inflation bottle• Single lifting frame with release hook, tested 2x SWL• Davit system for launch and recovery• Navigation equipment (any major brand): - GPS plotter - VHF/AIS - Radar - Night vision

TRANSPORT/STORAGE

• Road trailer• Deck cradle, for storage and transport on truck or mothership• 40’ HC double doors container. All our boats fit inside a

container for ease shipping and safe storage. We can also create a small workshop for service work and repairs.

• Drive on PE pontoon/boatlift with self-launching ramp. This way you will keep the boat safe and as new when not in use.
