GENERAL NOTES1 DRESS CODE

All Members and Visitors must adhere to the DressCode both on the Course and in the Clubhouse.

2 COMPETITIONS2.1 Before playing in a competition, the Entry Fee must be

paid and penalty for failure to do so – disqualification.Immediately on completion of your round, thescorecard must be signed by the Player and Marker andpenalty for failure to do so – disqualification.

2.1 A minimum of 16 qualified players is required for eachcompetition; otherwise the competition will beregarded as a sweepstake.

3 PRECEDENCE3.1 The Captain and President have precedence on the

course at all times.3.2 On Thursday the first tee is reserved exclusively for

Ladies from 9.00 am to 11.15 am and 2.00 pm to 5.45 pm.3.3 The first tee is reserved until 3.00 pm on Saturdays and

from 12.00 noon to 1.30 pm on Sundays for FullMembers only.

3.4 Four-ball, three-ball and two-ball are of equal standing.

4 JUVENILE COMPETITIONS4.1 The first tee is reserved from 3.00 pm – 3.40 pm on

Saturdays (Boys) and 3.48 pm – 4.30 pm (Girls).4.2 Competitions will run on Saturday afternoons from

April to October and details of these will be displayedon the Juvenile Noticeboard and on our website.

4.3 Juveniles must NOT tee-off to play at the following times:Thursday – between 2.00 pm and 5.45 pmSaturday before 3.00 pm and Sunday before 3.00 pm

5 THE CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPPoints will be awarded for Week-end qualifyingcompetitions, from Saturday, 27 April to Sunday, 29September as follows: Winner 3 pts., Runner-up 2 pts.,Category Winners 1 pt. and best Gross 1 pt. The player withthe most points will be Club Champion 2019.

6 THE PAT RUSSELL TROPHY** Weeks 1-10 of the Open Stableford/Open Seniors(Wed. 08 May – Wed. 10 July) incorporates the PatRussell qualifying. The top 16 players will qualify for theMatchplay section of this Competition.

PLEASE NOTEMale members, who intend to play between 7.00 am –3.00 pm (Sat/Sun) when a qualifying competition isscheduled, must play in the qualifying competition.

ETIQUETTE• In the interest of all, players should play without delay.• No player should play until the players in front are out of range.• Players should watch the ball in flight to avoid wasting time in searching.• Players whose golf balls are not immediately found should signal thefollowing match to play through.

• Players should leave the putting green immediately after completing a hole.• Players should smooth bunkers after use and all divots should be replaced.• On the putting greens, pitch marks should be repaired, and care taken notto damage the greens in any way.

• Dress code must be observed at all times both on the course and in theClubhouse.

• No-one should move, talk or stand close to or directly behind the ball orthe hole when a player is addressing a ball or making a stroke.
