READING THE CLASS SCHEDULEORIENTATION - Most video and web classes require some form of orientation. Orientation is used to give students important information about the course. Following are examples of the different types of orientation:Online Orientation, email instructor at (email address) between (dates) - students must send instructor an email introducing themselves at some time during the dates given. The instructor will respond with the information needed for the class.On-Campus Orientation, Day, Date, Time, Room - orientation will be held on campus on the specified day, date, time, and room. The Respiratory Therapy program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care. The Nursing program is approved by the Virginia State Board of Nursing and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (3343 Peachtree Road NE, Suite 850, Atlanta, GA 30326). The Practical Nursing and Nursing Assistant programs are approved by the Virginia State Board of Nursing. The Emergency Medical Services Technology program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs. The Phlebotomy program is approved by the National Phlebotomy Association. The Computer Aided Drafting & Design Technology, Technical Studies- Welding, Computer Manufacturing Technology – Electromechanical Technology, and Computer Manufacturing Technology -Industrial Electronics are accredited by the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE)
