Local nominees for the 2019 Victorian Senior of the Year Award will be introduced and their community contributions will be acknowledged.Janet Macdonald, President of the Warrnambool Historical Society, will share some stories about Warrnambool’s fascinating past and open the photographic exhibition that will be on display at ‘Archie’ for the month of October.

Gareth Colliton, from ‘The Ideas Place’ will inspire with his presentation: “Warrnambool, we’ve always been innovative.”Local wine and cheese, tea and coffee will be provided.

Wellness Session: Moove and Groove

Monday 7, 14, 21, 28 October, 2pm - 2.45pmThis is movement to music silent disco style! You’ll wear headphones so you can groove to popular tunes and also hear Instructor, Michelle Steere’s voice to guide you all the way. Moove and Groove can be done standing or seated and is suitable for seniors with low levels of fitness or mobility. Carers/family members are welcome too.
