Junior Sports Day On Friday 15th of November students from the Junior Department were exposed to some Athletic and Sporting based activities that were ran by the Grade 5 students. Throughout the day the students undertook 15 different stations were they were taught the fundamentals skills of these activities. Overall, the day was a huge success with great reports coming from both staff and the students. A special thanks to the Grade 5 students, volunteers and the BSE future house captains for their help at the event. Regional Cricket Finals On Wednesday 20th of November the Senior Boys Cricket team braved the heat to play in the Regional Finals of the Cricket Master Blaster Cup. After making it through the Division Cricket the boys put in a mountain of work training for the tournament which was played in Rochester. The boys won three of their four games for the day, the only loss was to rivals Spring Gully by 12 runs. The boys were then to miss a spot in the Grand Final by 1 run on overall tournament aggregate, 513 runs Strathfieldsaye to 514 runs Tongala, the eventual winners. The boys were shattered with this result but should be proud of the way they played. The event organiser congratulated the team and said that we were 3rd in this region, which holds up to 183 primary schools.
