CONNECTING YOUR BUSINESS TO GEORGIA’S FIRE SERVICE

As career firefighters, we know firsthand of the critical need to have the advocacy and support of the Georgia Association of Fire Chiefs (GAFC) and the Georgia State Firefighters Association (GSFA) to do our life saving work and serve our citizens. Since the founding of our state associations in the 1950’s, we have positively impacted thousands of fire, rescue and emergency services professionals through:

• Continuing education and training

• Access to learn about products, solutions and services

• Legislative strides to protect firefighters and citizens

• Benefits for fallen firefighters and their families

• Comradery, support and networking

INVEST IN OUR BUSINESS ENGAGMENT PROGRAMS

We have not accomplished this alone. It’s you, the business community, who are as dedicated as we are to the fire service.

Our vision is to create beneficial connections for businesses with the firefighting community that result in positively impacting the safety and well-being of the people of Georgia through supporting the lifesaving work of firefighters, rescue and EMS professionals.

Through our 2019 Business Membership, exhibits and sponsorship programs your company has a unique opportunity to intimately engage with these key decision makers and influencers who want to engage with you! Our 4,000-plus members, and growing, need to equip their departments to provide the best possible life saving services to the citizens they are sworn to protect.

Each year, the Georgia Association of Fire Chiefs (GAFC) and the Georgia State Firefighters Association (GSFA) team up with fellow associations to advocate for key legislative issues and engage with elected officials to honor and celebrate firefighters. An example of our collective success is HB 703 which created the Governor’s Office of Public Safety Support in 2018 that provides counseling and support services to public safety officers for incidents that include death or other tragedies. Your company can support our work by participating in this annual event.
