DESIGNED BY ORTHODONTISTS FOR DENTISTS
Dr Geoff Hall Robyn Wood
“Having completed my dental education, I studied orthodontics and discovered my passion in dentistry.
The privilege of nearly three decades in orthodontic practice at Advanced Orthodontics and now at MP Orthodontics means I’ve completed treatment for over 10,000 patients. Experience has shown me the transformative effects in a person from orthodontic treatment that works.
We’ve all seen the landscape in dentistry change in recent years. While dentists have been impacted, so too have patients. I found orthodontics was not accessible to a growing number of people. It’s this
discrepancy which prompted my development of Smilefast for general dentists in 2011.
I also identified general dentists could benefit from access to quality orthodontic education delivered by an orthodontist. Now through The OrthoED Institute Mini Masters Education Program – I’m fulfilling a personal mission to mentor dentists to realise their practice vision through orthodontics. ”

“I always thought orthodontics, especially braces was quite complex, until Dr Geoff Hall showed me how easy it is once you understand the basics. Since introducing Smilefast to my practice, I managed to elevate my surgery to another level as I can do more comprehensive dentistry at a faster pace. Be-sides the increase in revenue, my patients are so happy that they can achieve the smile they wanted in such a short time, that my referrals have also increased.
Dr Hall has been great during his courses by explaining ortho-dontics in a simple and easy to understand manner. I was able to treat my first case within days of attending the course.
Smilefast was introduced to me by a colleague so the positive feedback from other dentists conveinced me to introduce Dr Hall’s system to my practice. With the help of Dr Hall and his team I have been able to do my cosmetic cases faster, result-ing in happier customers. Communication with the Smilefast office is always prompt either via emails or telephone. Help is always available to assist in treatment planning for every case. Have Geoff there to oversee every step is such a relief.
The process of treamtment planning and executing has been made so easy through the online portal. A virtual set up can be viewed and can also be seen by the patient. The method allows my clients to visualise the end result and therefore accept the proposed treatment. My journey with Smilefast so far as been the smooth, enjoyable, predictable and profitable. Everything that a dentist could want.”
Dr AP, Sydney
I have been to various courses I have never learnt so much in any couse as I have with OrthoED. Geoff makes ortho-dontics fully understandable and teaches sound principles . The hands oncomponent and resources that are provided are invaluable as it provides total confidence in taking what I have learnt from the course and putting it into practice .Also the total mentoring process that geoff adopts makes this course the gold standard in orthodontic education for the general dentist.
Dr JP, Melbourne
I never thought orthodontics can be so much fun –through geoff I have learnt what are the easy cases and the difficult cases---I can now identify the risk analysis for all cases and modify treatments accordingly –the only question I ask myself ---why has this type of teaching never been availble before –geoff hall is a master instructor and his support is superb—I cannot thank the orthoEd institute enough for the most inspiring and superb orthodontic education.
Dr SS, Brisbane
I have done numerous other orthodontic courses - I thought I understood orthodontics. I learnt more in two days with Geoff Hall than I did in two years with other teachers. He constantly challenges the myths that have been created and makes one fully understand the principles so I can evaluate and treat all cases now without unwanted side affects arising in treatment. His vast experience and knowledge and passion to teach makes this a supremo programme. Thankyou Geoff and Robyn for bringing this to Australia and changing my clini-cal life.
Dr SM, Perth
What a fantastic course – I look forward to every module. I learn so much on the weekly Q and A session too. I cannot get enough learning and cannot thank The OrthoEd Insti-tute for making orthodontics so enjoyable, predictable and profitable for me . Whenever I have a question it is always answered prompltly and I feel now so confident that I have a fantastic and knowledgable mentor behind me. I cannot thank Geoff and Robyn enough.

I wanted to say a huge thank you to Dr Geoffrey Hall for the past two days. So early this year, I bit the bullet last minute and did the Smilefast course the week before I returned to work from maternity leave and it has transformed the way I look at occlusion and aesthetics dentistry. It even made me refer better and know when and when not to refer. Dr Geoffrey Hall is extremely knowledgeable and happy to share his experiences and knowledge. His teaching method is all about equipping principles of orthodontics to his students. He and his team have been exceptionally supportive with all of my cases, including case selection, progress analysis, material suppliers support. Geoff and his treatment co-ordinator, Robyn, even came to my clinic to walk me and my staff through my first band up case. With all my cases, I was able to load up my progress photos into the Smilefast portal and Geoff would then be able to have a discussion with me regarding what to do next or what I could have done better/differently at the last adjustment. From Smilefast, it has ignited my interest in orthodontics as there was a reasonably good response. I have just spent the last two days with Dr Geoff Hall to learn about early interceptive orthodontics as part of my signing up to the OrthoED Mini Masters program. And again, the course has been mind-blowing. Geoff is open to sharing his ideas but also welcomes questions and does not shy away from any challenges from the floor. I asked question after question to verify my thoughts and learning and all of them were answered with clarity. Being a mum of two young kids and also a practice owner, I am naturally time poor. I wanted a course that delivered maximum value at the course, not one where i had to do a lot of reading up on in order to understand the course and this course is definitely that. Obviously, some reading up is still required but the value Geoff brings to this course is phenomenal. More importantly, Geoff is very happy to talk about the business aspect of integrating orthodontics into the practice, which I think is just as important as the orthodontics itself. He is also aware of the need for staff training and will happily help give guidance on that so that orthodontics can be integrated successfully into the practice. For anyone wanting to look into an orthodontic program that will clarify your questions or a program suitable for someone with no prior experience or even to start some simple orthodontic cases, I highly recommend considering Smilefast or OrthoED with Dr Hall. His program is not one to be overlooked. I can't wait to go back to work on Monday and start some early interceptive cases straight away! Cons: Geoff's jokes, brain was so loaded with information after the two days that I wanted to wear a cap to keep it all in. Pros: Geoff's teaching style is very easy to understand. Friendly learning environment while you get to listen to Geoff's jokes. Dr. BC, Ballarat Victoria
