Starting from Reith, our snowshoe hike takes us up a wide natural track to the top of the Gschwandtkopf mountain where you’re rewarded with breathtaking views of the Reither Spitze, Hohe Munde and Zugspit-ze peaks. Food and drinks are available in the Sonnen-alm mountain inn.

Discover Seefeld from a historical perspective and learn about the Seefeld of today during an interesting winter walk through the holiday village.

Together with state-certified tourist guide Alexandra Glatzl, explore the Gothic Parish Church of St. Os-wald, the Hotel Klosterbräu and Seefeld’s landmark, the Seekirchl church (exterior only). Dogs are welcome.

Every Saturday winter hikers in possession of the regional guest card enjoy a free ascent and descent on the chair-lift. From the Katzenkopfhütte mountain hut fit walkers can enjoy a hike through the snow-covered forest to the Wildmoosalm hut, while those who prefer to take it easy can savour the breathtaking panoramic views from the sun-drenched terrace of the Katzenkopfhütte hut. NB: Lift transport is free only for guests without sport equipment (toboggans, alpine skis etc.)

and as soon as you have collected sufficient points, the relevant cross-country skiing pin is ‘activated’ and you can exchange your points for a ‘real’ cross-country skiing pin / hiking pin in any of the information offices. One pin per person (cost otherwise € 1.90).
