II CSE C(TCS).The students expressed their
sense of happiness to have their learning
environment under this wing. It was a
constructive session to know about their
requisites apart from their usual routine class
work.
“TECHTONIC INNOTALK” has motivated the
students to share the recent technical ideas of
innovations in Block Chain Technology, Bit
Coin, Clue Eyes Technology and
Emotional Intelligence. They expressed
their new experiences gained in their summer
Internships undertaken in June 2019.
Students were very curious in knowing about
the recent trends and to post their queries for
obtaining clear insight of the topics discussed.

The Department of Information Technology in association with ICT Academy has
successfully completed 6 days workshop titled ADX 201: Sales force
Administrator trailhead workshop.
Students will earn badges on successful completion of:
Batch 1: Automate the business process
Batch 2: Defining data security rules
Batch 3: Visualizing the data in trailhead dashboard for lightning experience
Batch 4: Creating reports and dashboards for sales and marketing
Batch 5: Create their own Salesforce mobile app

Capture the Flag is an event where a secret password will be hidden into the web
application and files. The participants had to make use of techniques like forensic,
cryptography, web security, and Open source intelligence to decrypt the password.
Total of 14 teams participated with each team consisting of 3 members.
A total of 15 teams have participated in
“Paper Presentation” contest in the
domain area “Recent trends in
Information Technology”. The papers
were evaluated based on their
presentation skills, content delivery and
its relevance to the domain area given.
Coding and Debugging contest was
organized to test student‟s
programming skills in C, C++, Python
and Java in HackerEarth platform.
The students were provided with
programming question with levels of
complexities. Total of 30 student
teams enthusiastically participated.

It is an on-spot topic event where students were
given with 1 hour of time to design poster and logo.
“Current trends in IT and Environmental Issues”
are the themes given to the students.
Quiz is a non-technical event where the
student‟s general knowledge and current
affairs skills are being tested.
Tap Jam is a non-technical event where the
students are given a riddle word to describe
the word without any grammar mistake. The
person who is more engaging is the winner.

It is a non-technical event where the students
are given with a total of six clues and are
requested to pick the items they find at the
places where they are directed by the clues with
one life time for each team.
Each team were asked to select a total of
13 players for their team that should
include 5 Batsmen including one Wicket
Keeper, 3 All Rounder, 5 Bowlers. At the
end of auction, the team with maximum
points will be announced as the winner
The participants were asked to take a picture on the
theme “SKCET”. Winners were announced based
on „Clarity, „Relevance to the theme‟ and
„Contrastness‟ of the picture.

Communication skill assessment was conducted for III ECE students. The
students are given ON SPOT topics and evaluations were made based on their
content quality, verbal, attidue and confidence level. The suggestions are given to
the students based on their performance and students clarified their doubts about
how to improvise their level of confidence and good presentation skills.
