We know that the most effective and transformational learning takes place over time, with an opportunity to apply practices to your real-world classroom while you are supported with reflection, coaching, and peer engagement. The CES approach provides a continuum of professional learning experiences that support you in tailoring your education to your personal and organizational goals.

We offer cost- and time-effective workshops and courses, face-to-face and online, to introduce or advance practice in key areas that you’ve identified as important. We follow up with opportunities for continued networking and hands-on application in our ongoing professional learning communities. In problems of practice where individualized observation, coaching, and advance learning are needed, CES consultants help you to assess needs and customize experiences to bring on-site to your school or district.

WE CAN HELP YOU TO:• Plan, implement, modify, and map curriculum

• Discover and practice effective classroom instructional practices, including project-based learning, integrating educational technology, and student-centered learning

• Explore and acquire strategies and techniques for inclusive practice, equity, and differentiated instruction

• Develop skills and deeper understanding for working with students with social-emotional, mental health and trauma concerns

• Build and align lesson plans that meet or exceed new and existing standards

• Meet the PD requirements to maintain your license and meet your professional learning goals.

opportunity that I have

participated in at WPS.

I feel that I gained the

opportunity to grow as an

leader as I would have in a

graduate level course.”

We’ll work with you to design a program that fits into your available time and takes place at your site; addresses your audiences (teachers, leadership, paraprofessionals); and presents the content you need.

ISTE Certification is a competency-based, vendor-neutral teacher certification based on the ISTE Standards for Educators. It recognizes educators who use edtech for learning in meaningful and transformative ways.

ISTE is focused on pedagogy, not tools. It’s not about edtech per se, it’s about what you do with the tech to transform learning and improve student outcomes.

Through the ISTE Certification process, teachers will participate in professional learning based on the ISTE Standards and transformative pedagogy. After completing the training, participants have six months to

apply their learning and compile artifacts and reflections into a competency-based portfolio to earn ISTE Certification.

This course will include two full day face-to-face sessions followed by 6 weeks of online course work. Join us on November 29th and 30th for our inaugural ISTE Certified Educator Course. A second course will be offered in January, 2019. Learn more and register at: collaborative.org/iste
