About the classesWe offer classes to all levels, and incorporate a variety of methodologies to make the learning experience enjoyable and memorable.

Project-based lessons: Students will learn to work together to express and share their creativity with students from all around the world. Speaking and writing skills are the main focus.

Content & Language Integrated Learning (CLIL): This approach combines the study of the language with cultural and historical content. Each week, students will have one lesson on either history, science or art.

Level test: So as not to waste precious class time, we invite all our students to do a level test before their arrival. A link to an online test will be sent to the parent or guardian at the time of booking.

FRIDAY Reading: Read an article about tourist attractions Functional Language: Making recommendations / making plans and agreeing Vocabulary: Adjectives to describe places Speaking: Make plans and recommendations for a visitor to your own country

Afternoon Activities: Activities are specially selected to appeal to the interests of different age groups, giving them the opportunity to enjoy Dublin’s fair city first hand. Children are supervised at all times, and our YES Group leaders are well trained to look after all age groups.

Dublin Walking Tour: Walk along the quays of the River Liffey, take a picture with the street performers along Grafton Street, or relax alongthe paths of St. Stephen’s Green!


Museum Day: Chester Beatty Library, Natural History Museum, Collin’s Barracks, the National Library—a new museum every week!


Phoenix Park: The largest intercity park in Europe, there is a new activity and sight to see for every day of the week!


Historical Dublin: This may include a visit to any of Dublin’s famous historical sites, such as Dublin Castle, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, or Glasnevin Cemetary!


Cultural Fridays: A visit to some of the most kid friendly, interactive Irish experiences, including the National Leprechaun Museum, Dublinia, or the Dublin Wax Museum!

SATURDAY Optional Day trip to one of the many beautiful sites around Ireland: See the Cliffs of Moher, Giant’s Causeway, Belfast, Newgrange—and more!
