Over the past five seasons at Wisconsin, Kelly Sheffield has established the University of Wisconsin as one of the premiere programs in college volleyball. Kelly has led the Badgers to five straight NCAA Tournament appearances, including two Sweet Sixteens, two Elite Eights, and one appearance in the National Championship Match.

During Kelly’s five years, he has guided Wisconsin to an overall record of 135-35. In his first year as Head Coach leading the Badgers, Kelly took the Wisconsin team to the National Championship match after finishing each of their five previous seasons short of being selected to the NCAA Tournament. In only his second year, Wisconsin won the Big Ten Conference with a record of 19-1. That season, Sheffield was named Big Ten Coach of the Year and Wisconsin nearly swept the year-end conference awards picking up Player of the Year, Setter of the Year, and

Defensive Player of the Year. Kelly was also named AVCA Northeast Region Coach of the Year in both 2014 and 2016.

During the past five years, he has guided the Badgers to a top-15 finish in each of his five seasons with four of those seasons finishing in the top-10. Kelly’s players have also received multiple national awards including 18 All-American selections. Over Kelly’s career as a head coach, he has amassed over 400 career wins and has made the NCAA Tournament 13 times.

During these years, White has guided Wisconsin’s starting middle blockers to eight All-American honors and starting setters to five All-American honors.
