Our partnership with the “Heart Safe Community” is critical to aid in the
efforts to educate and equip the public to effectively deal with Sudden
Cardiac Arrest which, according to Banner Health, is the leading cause of
death in the United States.
This is accomplished through the strategic placement of automated
external defibrillators (AED) in public gathering spots throughout the
city of Loveland, as well as offering CPR classes. These efforts will help
increase the survival rate of Sudden Cardiac Arrest by as much as 50
percent.
This family-friendly event is FREE and open to the public so it’s up to our
sponsors to help us meet these goals.

The Loveland Fire & Ice Festival is one of the nation’s largest Valentine’s
Day celebrations and recognized not only across the U.S. for the past
three years, but internationally as well.
This award-winning three day event is celebrated around Valentine’s
Day weekend and is strategically created to target local, regional,
national and international tourists to the City of Loveland during the
month of February celebrating Valentine’s Day like no other place on
earth. Held annually in the HEART of downtown Loveland, attracting
over 40,000 guests of all ages to interact with what makes Valentine’s
Day a worldwide celebration of LOVE! With nightly fireworks, fire
and ice sculptures, music, unique performances, and family-friendly

“The Loveland Fire & Ice Festival is born of
a passion for our community and a desire
to create amazing experiences for guests.”
Nate and Heidi Webb Co- Owners of Blazen Illuminations
Nate and Heidi Webb founded the Loveland
Fire & Ice Festival along with Cindy Mackin
and Beata McKee with Visit Loveland. This
partnership was first developed over many
meetings and lots of coffee. The two teams
came together to create a new experience to
reach out and attract visitors to the Sweetheart
City during February, The City of Loveland’s
signature month of celebrations.
Nate and Heidi Webb have been in the
entertainment industry for a combined
experience of over 50 years. They have had
experience in all aspects of the industry and
have been privileged to work with many of
the top name artists and celebrities of the
last 3 decades. In 1998, they branched out on
their own to form Blazen Illuminations. They
set the foundation for their company working
on projects in all areas of the entertainment
industry, including laser shows, haunted
houses, theme parks, churches, and anything
they could get their hands on.
In 2006, they developed the Holiday Magic
at Centerra program featuring events and
entertainment attractions including over
a million lights on over 4000 trees at the
Promenade Shops at Centerra in Loveland,
CO. Three years later, they developed the LED
Holiday Lighting display on the City and County
Building in downtown Denver making this
iconic building even more spectacular leading
it to become one of the most photographed
buildings in the world and the most festive in
the country. This new lighting allowed for the
development of many events and celebrations
over the years in Civic Center Park. Including
Independence Eve Fireworks and light show,
two seasons of American Ninja Warrior,
Denver Big Air Ski and Snowboard Challenge,
the annual Holiday Musical Extravaganza and
many more events where the building is the
centerpiece.
The success of these events and displays gave
way to additional noteworthy projects such
as Union Station, Colorado Eagles, Chicago
Transit Authority, Federal Customs House,
various RTD art displays, Star Trek Continues,
Living Lights display at the Butterfly Pavilion,
and Downtown Greeley lighting to name a
few. Blazen Illuminations continues to stay
on the cutting edge of new technology,
entertainment, theming, production, lighting
and system integration keeping them above
the industry standards.
