IFE AWARDS CEREMONY

The IFE annual Awards Ceremony included the iconic “Hall of Fame” award as well as the “Young Fastener Professional” award. Nominated by their peers, the 2018 Hall of Fame winners Bob Sachs and Robbie Gilchrist were recognized during a special award ceremony on the show floor, and Young Fastener Professional winners Peggy Hsieh and Jun Xu were all recognized and honored.

WORKSHOPS & SESSIONS

IFE sponsored workshops starting on Day 1, prior to the exhibit hall opening, allowing both attendees and vendors the opportunity to gain insights on the latest technologies and solutions, to increase their ROI and grow sales, as well as networking and learning from industry leaders on the various topics that affect the Fastener industry.

NIGHTCAP NETWORKING EVENT

IFE hosted a nightly NIGHTCAP at the Eyecandy Sound Lounge as another place to continue conversations between attendees and vendors. This event created memorable nights filled with networking, mixing and mingling.

“BYOD” HOSTED PROGRM

IFE hosted the BYOD (Bring Your Own Distributors) program designed for exhibitors to nominate distributors they want to see at the show that have never attended. Selected distributors received free admission to the expo, as well as a complimentary two-night hotel stay at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.

SHOW FLOOR SPECIAL EVENTS AND GIVEAWAYS

IFE brought excitement to attendees on the show floor with special events and giveaways at the Beer Garden. Exciting giveaways included $500 guess and win giveaways and one-of-a-kind barstools giveaway provided by Parker Fasteners. IFE also partnered with Karma Automotive and hosted a guess and win $1,000 Visa gift card giveaway to one lucky winner who was able to guess how many fasteners it took to build the 2018 Karma Revero luxury car that was on display.
