Proceeds from this children-helping-children event will benefit Welvista’s Smiles for a Lifetime school-based pediatric dental program for children living in poverty in five of South Carolina’s rural counties. Welvista is a 501(c)3 organization that helps uninsured and underserved residents of South Carolina gain access to essential health services. Founded in 1991, Welvista partners with pharmaceutical companies, medical and dental professionals to bring life-saving medications and preventative care to the most vulnerable South Carolinians.

2018 Partnership OpportunitiesLadson Boone Chapman Charity Easter Egg Hunt benefits Welvista’s Smiles for a Lifetime school-based pediatric dental program for children living in poverty in five of South Carolina’s rural counties. Since 2001, Smiles has provided more than 15,000 patients with preventative and restorative dental care. For these at-risk young students, a smile is worth a thousand words. The lifelong after-effects of oral hygiene neglect is preventable: chronic illness, poor self-esteem, immeasurable pain. Last year’s first annual Ladson Boone Chapman Children-Helping-Children Easter Egg Hunt supported Welvista’s efforts to
provide dental services to children who lack access to treatment.
