General InformationGolf Outing: The golf outing will be held at Branson Hills Golf Club. There will be a limit of 20 players, so don’t get left out. Handicap or average 18-hole score information required. The fee will be $89 per person which includes green fees and golf cart. Directions to golf course: from the Chateau on the Lake, take a left out of the main exit; at the stop light turn left onto Hwy 265; continue to MO-76 and take a slight right (76 East- 0.7 miles); turn left onto MO-465 (Ozark Mountain High Rd); Take Ozark Mountain High Rd (MO- 465) to MO-65 South; go (1) exit south to Branson Hill Pkwy/Bee Creek Rd exit and turn right onto Branson Hills Parkway (1.25 miles); turn Right onto Pinehurst Drive; turn left on Payne Stewart Drive to clubhouse.

Hotel Information: All events will be held at Chateau on the Lake located at 415 N. State Highway 265, Branson, MO 65616. The room block for the ACEC Midwest States Conference at the Chateau will be held until Friday, May 18, 2018. Contact the hotel at (888) 333-5253 or (417) 334-1161 for a rate of $175 (single/double) for Mountain View/Lake View rooms ($195 triple / $215 quad) and tell then you are with the ACEC Midwest States. The following hotels are located close to the headquarters hotel. (ACEC does not endorse any of these hotels.)

Professional Development Hours (PDHs): We offer Pro-fessional Development Hours (PDHs) during this meeting. Attendees can earn up to 6.5 PDHs at this year’s conference. A PDH form will be available at the conference or a copy can also be emailed at your request.

Babysitting Accommodations: Hotel babysitting (ask front desk); and Crawdaddies Kid’s Club (kids ages 4-12).

Recommended Attire: All events are casual except the Saturday Banquet, which will be business-casual.

Cancellation Policy: Full registration will be refunded, less a $50 processing fee, if written notification is received on or before June 1. No refunds will be granted after this date, however, substitutions are wel-come.

Speaker: Jack Schaller, Olsson AssociatesThis presentation will show the journey of recovering from the 2011 tornado that took numerous lives and destroyed much of the city’s buildings and infrastruc-ture. This will include an overview of the event itself and the associated cleanup; the planning, funding, design and construction that brings us to present day; and what the remainder left to complete is.

12:00 p.m.Golf Outing at Branson Hills Golf ClubThis 18-hole course voted #1 Course in Missouri in 2012-2016 by ‘GOLFWEEK’ and is a tribute honoring legendary Missouri golfers. It incorporates the natural rock outcroppings, waterfalls and creeks and wooded areas into the design features. The course yardage varies from 5,323-7,324 with five distinct teeing areas, and is challenging, yet playable, for all caliber of golfers. (See next column for more details.)
