1020: LWMS Half-sheet Flier A half-sheet glossy color flier explains LWMS, who we are and what we do. These fliers are designed to be used by congregations to promote LWMS. Suggested uses: Insert in new member packets; bulletin insert reminders for upcoming LWMS related events or rallies (see the blank rectangle at the bottom of the flier to write or put a label with contact information or dates and times); invitations for your local LWMS meeting or rally to women who haven't been active; distribute them at an Advent by Candlelight event, women’s Bible studies, or women’s retreats.

1021: LWMS Spanish Half-sheet Flier This is the same as the LWMS Half-Sheet Flier, except that it is in Spanish in order to reach out to our Spanish-speaking sisters.

2001: BAM Half-sheet Flier This half-sheet flier explains the Befriend A Mission program.

2002: Saints Refreshing Saints This six-page document is full of ideas for supporting missionaries through the BAM program. Ideas are organized by topic—introductory information, prayer, display, encouragement, gifts, and mailing tips.

2003: BAM Summary This is a thorough explanation of the Befriend A Mission program.

2004: BAM Poster Display This 11” x 17” full-color poster will assist you in promoting the Befriend A Mission program. It comes with a cardboard easel with a plastic cover for easy display and folds flat for easy storage.

3007: LWMS-What’s There to Do Anyway? This is a revised portion of Linda Wachholz’s workshop from the convention in Tacoma, Washington. This helpful document provides ideas for what to pray for missionaries and encourages

writing to missionaries. A list of Bible verses for easy reference is included. 3008: Youth Mission Awareness A five-page document of ideas to educate and encourage youth to become more mission minded.

3051: kids c.a.r.e. Poster This 11” x 17” full-color poster is attractive and gets the children of your congregation excited about supporting the latest kids c.a.r.e. project. Only shipping costs apply.

4008: 50 Year Anniversary of LWMS—1964-2014 (history booklet) and LWMS: Reflections on 50 Years (DVD) The booklet is a revision of the 40-year history book plus the addition of the 10 years beyond.

The DVD highlights the first 50 years of LWMS with pictures, interviews, and history. Video lasts approximately 20 minutes and is great for rallies and women’s meetings.

5011: Take-Along Tips for Personal Bible Study with bookmarks. A guideline to use when doing personal Bible reading. Fold the full size page in half to fit in your Bible or copy the other two pages back-to-back to make a bookmark for your Bible.

5012: “What’s in Your Purse?” This Bible study looks at items that many women carry in their purses. The items are mentioned with a couple of different purposes—to encourage godly motivation for outreach and to serve as a useful reminder of what to say.

5013: “Women in Ministry” A two-page Bible study using many biblical examples to illustrate ways in which women can serve the Lord.

5014: “We Are Living Stones Bible Class” This Bible study is based on Pastor Mark Jeske’s commentary on 1 Peter from the People’s Bible Series. A game board and playing cards are included to encourage group discussion on your lives in Christ. This Bible study is useful as an ice breaker for a retreat or to encourage personal reflection on a day’s activities at a rally.

6020: Ballot Mission Projects PowerPoint This PowerPoint, created to show at rallies and ladies groups, contains pictures and information about the 2018-2019 ballot mission projects. 6021: Sharing Convention: Three Easy Steps Looking for ways to share the excitement you feel at an LWMS convention? Use this guide to help you share what you experienced.

6022: Mission Ideas Galore This document is full of mission ideas, which were compiled from circuit rally minutes. Check out to see what other circuits and congregations have done to support missions.

6023: Ignite Materials - LWMS Awareness Committee In these materials are some fabulous ideas to help you in getting more women involved with LWMS and mission work. Stay tuned over the next year for more creative ways to build 1-2-1 relationships, reach out to women in your congregation, and connect with non-LWMS member congregations. Let's turn those sparks of interest into flames with increased awareness, commitment, and passion for mission work!

8001: “Exercise Woman” A one page, one-woman skit (don’t worry; you get to use cue cards!) that encourages everyone to exercise the soul.

8002: “Here I Am, Send Me” By E. Mohr (LWML); adapted by LWMS for commemoration of the 30th Convention

Anniversary (1993). This short skit uses a leader plus four readers. Women at four stages of their lives discover everyday mission opportunities they had not noticed before. An added introduction adapts the skit for LWMS anniversary celebrations. An optional introduction adapts the skit for Christmas with or without an anniversary celebration.

8003: “Joy of Service” This five-page skit offers two examples of LWMS meetings. Dialogue shows how rally attendees can be encouraged to support missionaries (also includes facts on Thailand).

8006: “You Are the Salt of the Earth” Jesus tells his disciples they are the SALT of the earth. Use S.A.L.T. to teach your women how to be the salt of the earth. No memorizing!

8007: “The Door” This skit follows three women who have completely different approaches to common witnessing situations. Learn how to share your love for the Lord with others.

8008: “Diet and Exercise” This skit involves your whole being—body and soul! Fun for small or large groups.

8009: “Jesus Loves Me” This skit explains why we should reach out to our non-English speaking neighbors.

8010: “Little Red Hat Lady” This skit is a take-off on the story, “Little Red Hen.” We all need to participate in supporting missions.

8011: “Can you Fix our Missionary?” Is your missionary really broken or does he just need a little support? This skit reminds women of the value of our support through prayers and encouragement leaving the final outcome to the Holy Spirit.

L001: Flags of the Mission Fields There are 38 authentic flags. They include the Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota flags, the United States, Christian, and WELS flags, as well as flags from every country in which we do mission work. A written commentary is included. Each flag has a pole and base. You can reserve a few or all of them. They are available to groups who are able to transport them back and forth from the LWMS Central Office.

L002: Miniature Flags Same set as above (minus the WELS flag). These flags are 3” x 5” on ten-inch staffs with their own bases and can be used as tabletop displays.

L003: LWMS Banner Display Retractable LWMS Banner provides an eye-catching display for use at your Rally or mission event. This banner includes the LWMS logo and is attractive and colorful. May be used as a table-top display or extended to its full length as a floor display. It is available to groups who are able to transport it from the LWMS Central Office.

L004: LWMS kids c.a.r.e. Display This is a tri-fold display board with pictures from the current kids c.a.r.e. project. It is available to groups who are able to transport it from the LWMS Central Office. Resource Idea Form Have an idea to share? Please fill in a “Resource Idea Form” (page 14) and send it to the LWMS Central Office. When sending ideas, please send them in a format that can be copied and mailed (white paper works better than colored paper for copying).
