  • THE FIRST STEP: WHAT IS ERASMUS+?

    The Erasmus+ Program was established by the European Union to enhance the quality and

    reinforce the European dimension of higher education by encouraging transnational

    cooperation between universities. The Erasmus Program+, in particular, is designed to foster

    students and teaching staff mobility in Europe.

  • WHAT IS ERASMUS+ INTERNSHIP MOBILITY ?

    Erasmus+ Internship Mobility programme, aims students togain experience related to their departments abroad.

    Traineeship activity cannot be used to carry out studies such as research assignments and analysis studies related toacademic studies conducted under a specific curriculum. Traineeship activity means that a student obtains practical work experience in his/her study area.

  • ERASMUS + TRAINEESHIP MOBILITY WHY TRAINEESHIP?

    Erasmus+ Traineeship gives you the opportunity of doing a full time internship in a company/institution in Europe,

    minimum of 60 days.

    It gives you the opportunity to spend your summer break super – efficient!

    Senior students can participate in the program even after their graduation up to 12 months as long as they apply

    while they are still an active student at Bilgi. Such an experience will be a significant gain for professional life.

  • ERASMUS + TRAINEESHIP MOBILITYACADEMIC ISSUES

    All students who meet the application requirements can participate in the mobility. There is no need of having a

    compulsory internship.

    If it is approved by departments, Erasmus+ internship can be considered and transferred as a compulsory

    internship.

    The credits earned from the internship can be transferred as well. The main criteria is, the departments approval.

    Participating in the mobility without any credit transfer plan is possible as well.

    By doing a traineeship abroad with Erasmus+, you can improve not only your communication, language and inter-

    cultural skills, but also soft skills which are highly valued by future employers, as well as becoming more

    entrepreneurial.

    Your CV’s will be more prominent.

  • ERASMUS + TRAINEESHIP MOBILITYAPPLICATION

    Application Documents:

    • Acceptance Letter

    • Training Agreement

    • Transcript

    • Application Form (originally signed by you)

    Selection Criteria: %50 CGPA (min. 2.20 for bachelor /min. 2.50 for master) + %50 Language Score

    Since you have to submit an acceptance letter during the application, you should start looking for an internship beforehand.

    • Pre-registration is the first step for application.

    • ONLINE application is the second step for the application.

    Before applying, please read the «Application Guide» and «Application Web Page» in the IC website carefully.

    Reading the rules and procedures is the students responsibility.

    After completing the online application, you cannot make any changes.

  • ERASMUS+

    MOBILITY GRANT

    We can not guarantee that all applicants will get a grant.

    Grant payments are done in two parts, before and after the mobility.

    The grant allocated between the students is decided by the Bilgi University Erasmus Commission, regarding the

    total grant given to Bilgi. The main target is to grant many students as possible.

    You can attend an Erasmus+ Exchange program without a grant.
