It’s exciting to reflect on the past year, one filled with achievement and opportunity, as I attempt to encapsulate the many ways you helped make Tower a vibrant and thriving school.

Tower is a community of families and faculty whose extraordinary commitment to our mission, and the success of our students, fuels our aspirations for the future. Thank you to these groups for their exceptional support for Tower: 100% of faculty, 100% of trustees, 100% of new families, and 97% of all families who contributed to the Annual Fund.

Tower is a community built on a partnership between teachers who deliver a powerful academic program to our students, and you—our friends and families—who support this work across many efforts. Thank you to our wonderful parents, trustees, faculty, alumni, grandparents and parents of alumni who volunteered their time and expertise to enliven all that we do.

between 2012–2014, 240 families pledged over $3,700,000 to the Stepping

was able to fund a feasibility study focused on

improving a range of programs in our backyard

Carbon OffsettingThanks to the generosity of these families, Tower is the beneficiary of seven hectares of

costa rican rainforest through the organization reforest the Tropics. The forest is planted

on the site of a former sugarcane field. It is now home to native hardwoods and various

shade-tolerant species. as the trees mature, they will help offset Tower School’s carbon

production. The growth of this carbon-capturing forest offers valuable opportunities for

learning through science, math, social studies, and Spanish. we’re grateful for this unique

and forward-thinking gift to Tower.
