In the absence of the full Championship Committee, present members of the committee at any time may give a decision and any decision shall be deemed the decision of the full Championship Committee.

Trophies Trophies will be awarded as follows:

Overall boys and girls gross winners Overall nett winner U14, U16, U18 and U21 gross winner, runner up and

nett winner NTP each day

Catering The Border Bistro offers member and guests a range of meal options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All food and beverage expenses will be the responsibility of the competitor. Scratchings Any player wishing to withdraw prior to the event date must ring the Golf Development Department on 8545 6217 or email douglas.okeeffe@golfvic.org.au. Please call Douglas O’Keeffe on 0417 104 758 to withdraw on the day of play. Round 2 Draw The draw for round two will be made available on the Golf Victoria website at www.golfvic.org.au, from approximately 7:30pm.

 

 

Registration All competitors are required to report to Golf Victoria representatives inside the clubhouse upon arrival at the course. Players must then be present on the appropriate tee no later than 10 minutes prior the tee time. Scorecards All score cards are to be returned to the registration area immediately at the conclusion of play. Dress Regulations Please visit the relevant website of the host club. All players & caddies are required to adhere to the Club’s dress regulations with particular reference to the links above. The following is not permitted: jeans, jean-style and cargo pants, track suits, tight stretch pants for women, brief shorts, T-shirts, singlets, shirts without collars, thongs, sandals, significant advertising on any garment, hat, or shoe. Course Care / Club Regulations Players are reminded that sand buckets MUST be taken and used and pitch marks are to be repaired. Mobile phones are not to be used in the clubhouse or on the course unless in the case of an emergency or a ruling during the round. Play will be from the nominated tee markers. Any player not complying with these requirements will be subject to action in accordance with the GV Code of Conduct. Distance Measuring Devices Distance Measuring Devices such as range finders are permitted (as per Golf Victoria Standard Event Conditions).

Motorised Carts According to GV’s standard conditions of competitions, it is the responsibility of the player, if they require the use of a golf cart during the event to send a Medical Certificate and a completed copy of the Golf Victoria Motorised Transport Approval Return Form for consideration by the Match Committee. Please go to the GV website under Championships & Events Event Resources Motorised Transport for the return form and more information. Exemption: Players aged 75 years and over do not require a Medical Certificate. Golf carts are at the player’s own expense and MUST be booked directly with the Golf Victoria as soon as possible. Golf Victoria cannot guarantee the use of a golf cart on any given day of play. Note: In the event in which a limited number of carts are available, players requesting carts will be paired together. Caddies are permitted to ride in the cart with the player ONLY when sufficient carts are available. Slow Play Rule 6-7 will be strictly enforced. Each group must maintain its position on the course with respect to the group preceding them. Any group with a clear hole in front of them will be considered out of position. Penalties will be issued to individuals in such groups who by their pace contribute to such delay. Warnings may not be issued prior to penalties. Suspension of Play In the event of heavy rain, lightning or for any other reason, the Championship Committee will be responsible for deciding whether to suspend play. The signal for suspending play will be one short siren blast. The procedure when play is suspended is outlined under Rule 6-8b. When the course is ready for play, players will be advised to return to various locations. The signal for the resumption of play will be one long siren blast. Refunds Any entrant may withdraw and have the entrance fee refunded provided notification is received within three working days prior to the event. Under no circumstances will entry fees be refunded after this date unless players can provide Golf Victoria supporting documents regarding their withdrawal from the event (ie. Medical certificate).
