production by participating in the Ensemble work based on the needs and idea’s of the

stage director. We are all working on the productions together and need to support all

events produced by the Festival of the Aegean.

COSTUMES: Some costumes will be provided. Please bring WHITE SOCKS and WHITE

NYLONS as well as white undergarments for the kimono's. If you are wearing a

black or darker Kimono, then you will need black socks and black under garments.

MAKE-UP: We have a make-up artist and assistants, however, some of you will be doing your

own make-up. Please bring any sort of make-up which you may need for your roles.

HAIR: Some wigs will be provided. If you have dark hair, we will not use a wig or dark spray. If

you have any items at home which will assist you in looking Japanese, please bring it with

you to Greece.

GOS, cast, covers, and study covers, must be prepared to sing through the roles with the musical staff by June 30,

2017. The first stage rehearsal with the director, Johannes Weigand will be July 3, 2017 10:00 am at the Apollo

Theater.

scheduled around the island. These are the first suggestions in casting to allow each participant the opportunity to

prepare music in advance, prior to the coaching's given during the month of study in Syros prior to the final

performances. All casting is subject to change, pending on the development of each participant and the final

musical preparation. Please note that for some roles there are more than one name listed. Each participant will be

prepare in advance finding the appropriate wardrobe. The Greek Opera Studio does not

provide full costumes.

4) Black Shoes (low heels) 5) Dress for Master Classes 6) Cocktail Dress
