Description of CE Course
6 CE credits
Unlike polio, caries is the number one most common chronic infectious disease of childhood, and we’re still a long ways away from eradicating it. And while we don’t seem to be coming up with an earth-shattering new ways to eliminate this scourge, at least we’re becoming more creative in its management.
This lecture will present the latest developments in oral hygiene, dietary, preventive, and surgical management of the caries process, including silver nitrate/diamine fluoride, minimally invasive restorative techniques, the Hall crown technique, and more. Attendees should return to their practices with reinforcing and new management tools to help in their every day practices.
