WHY HIBERNIAN TRAINING COURSES?
Hibernian Training Courses was founded in 2006 by
Crona Sheehan. We have grown and developed into a
thriving, exciting and dynamic training company.
We work closely with our clients to achieve their
goals. Our success is down to our hard work and
keeping the following principles in mind:
• Behaviour change is hard at the best of times, so we
encourage change that’s doable and compatible with
each person’s individuality. We avoid any attempt at
wholesale personality transplants.
• Making the smallest change for the biggest impact.
Sustainable and relevant behaviour change will only
work if it isn’t hard to do and a big payoff –anything
else is a waste of time and money.
• Having fun. We believe that people more easily take on
new behaviours and thinking in an environment that is
enjoyable and light-hearted, so that the serious stuff is
much easier to deal with.
We are a fully approved QQI provider and fully approved by the MII (Mediators Institute of Ireland).
WHY IS OUR TRAINING DIFFERENT?
CREATING SUSTAINABLE BEHAVIOUR CHANGE
Learning that changes behaviour to produce results is
a process, not a single event. Two factors heavily
influence the extent to which the training is applied:
retention and management support. When retention
strategies and management support beyond the
classroom experience are included in the learning
initiative, the application of new knowledge and skills will
be much higher.
Hibernian Training Courses encourages leadership
involvement and applies retention strategies to ensure
learning is not only an event but also a true process that
changes behaviour and performance. Effective learning
depends overwhelmingly on the support provided before
and after training. Hibernian Training Courses
incorporate an innovative learning system that turns the

OPEN COURSESWe offer 25 Open Courses that are regularly scheduled throughout the year. This is a great option for individuals who want to focus on specific issues or learn additional skills. Open courses are particularly beneficial for key personnel whose development can make significant differences in your organisation. Many of our courses are accredited by QQI or MII.
TAILORED PROGRAMMES
Our tailored programmes are completely bespoke to each of our clients. Our in-house courses are tailored to incorporate client specific content, case studies and scenarios. Tailored courses are extremely beneficial if you need to modify behaviour relating to a business specific situation or outcome. To determine your exact requirements and ensure we develop the examples accordingly, a meeting with our training consultant is included along with the opportunity for you to review the courseware prior to delivery to ensure it meets your needs.
BITE-SIZE TRAINING
You may want your staff to learn some new skills and learn them quickly but you may not be able to release them for a whole day or you may want them to get some polish on skills they already have or you want them to get a focused look at one very specific area.

Results evaluation is the effect on the
business or environment by the trainee.
Hibernian Training Courses can work
with the stakeholder to analyse areas of
improvements including absenteeism,
staff turnover statistics, how their
people feel about the program and
any improvements they feel have been
achieved as a result of the training.
LEVEL ONE: REACTION
DID THE LEARNERS LIKE THE
TRAINING PROGRAMME?
At the conclusion of each training session
each participant will be asked to complete
a Training Evaluation Form. This
evaluation is designed to gauge how the
individual reacted to the training session
and whether they feel their personal
learning objectives were met.
LEVEL THREE: BEHAVIOUR
DID THE LEARNERS DEPLOY THE
LEARNINGS ON THE JOB?
Measurement of behaviour change
typically requires the co-operation and
skill of line-managers. To facilitate this
it is recommended that the participants
provide their manager with a copy of their
Personal Action Plan after completing
the program. This Action Plan can then
be incorporated into the individual’s
development plan to facilitate the
behavioural change.
LEVEL TWO: LEARNING

THE CONTENT?
Learning evaluation is the measurement
of the increase in knowledge or
intellectual capability from before to after
the learning experience. This will be
achieved by facilitator observation and
provide confidential feedback provided
back to you via our Trainer’s Report.
