• Furthermore, AllState is very musically demanding. It is NOT an opportunity to help a student with average skills. It IS a college-level experience for truly gifted, mature students.

Every effort will be made to ensure that everyone who comes to camp has a fun and safe stay; therefore, a yearly background check MUST be completed on EVERY ADULT or PARTICIPANT 18 years or older WHO ATTENDS Baptist AllState Weekend. Please have every adult with your group complete the online Background Screening. Your registration will not be complete, nor your camp date secured, until all adults in your group have been screened and approved by the South Carolina Baptist Convention. Chorus Auditions

At beginning of video give your name, your address, your church, and your voice part.

Answer the following questions: 1. What group or groups do you sing with? (church, school, community) 2. Can you read music? 3. Can you follow your voice part on the written music?

1. Vocalize using a five note ascending & descending scale, for example: F,G,A,Bb,C,Bb,A,G,F - continue up by half steps

(demonstrate how high you can sing). Sing on syllable “LA”

2. Vocalize using a five note descending scale starting G - F- E - D - C. Continue down by half steps (demonstrate how low you

3. Sing a solo of your choice using piano accompaniment only. A hymn is acceptable.

(stanza/verse one – sing your part with accompaniment, and

Orchestra Auditions

At beginning of video give your name, your address, your church, and your instrument. Answer the following questions:
