Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ponoka and Rimbey have been privileged to serve the youth of Ponoka, Rimbey

and surrounding communities this past year with the same proven mentoring programs that the

organization has long been known for.

The agency continues to experience high demand for the programs within an ever-fluctuating climate of

both financial and volunteer resources. However, the board and staff remain dedicated to making sure

every child has the opportunity to have a mentor and finding a place within our programs to serve them.

As in the past, the programs run due to the two very distinctive roles:

1. the dedicated staff that work hard to arrange the matches and deliver the quality programs.

2. the incredible mentors in the community that give of their time and talents to invest in the life

of a young person.

As well, I want to acknowledge the businesses and residents of these communities for the strong level of

support that we experience each year. Without this support, the kids would not experience these positive

role models in their lives.

Thank you to my fellow board members, the staff and all mentioned for another year of valuable

investment in the youth and future of our communities.
