MISSION STATEMENT

As a leading provider of cost effective evidence based services, Federation of Organizations partners with individuals, families and communities to promote wellness and enrich quality of life. We are agents of change in a rapidly evolving health care environment. We collaborate with community leaders and progressive healthcare providers to educate and motivate people to improve their health.

A MESSAGE FROM Nancy Schonberg President | Board of Directors Barbara Faron Chief Executive Officer &Dear Friends,

As you can see on the following pages, we have been very busy working to promote wellness and a better quality of life for thousands of individuals and families throughout Long Island and New York City. Each person we reach has a story to tell, a journey that has shaped the person they are today. They are the “Faces of Federation” and their stories are what propel us to provide exceptional service amid a changing healthcare landscape.

Who are the “faces” that we speak of? They are individuals in recovery who are finding the confidence and motivation to rebuild their lives. They are people yearning for their next meal or a place to call home. They are men and women battling chronic conditions day in and day out. They are veterans who need assistance managing their money. They are senior volunteers looking to give back to the communities they live in. They are the hundreds of staff members who are listening, providing support and resources; helping people to live independently and ultimately achieve their dreams.

In 2016, we continued to adapt as an organization, working in a more integrative way as we serve people holistically. Our commitment to creativity, collaboration, and empathy has helped us to help individuals reach their goals. With support from donors and sponsors, community partners, and volunteers, Federation continues to move forward providing quality services through any one of our many programs and services.
