GGGrrreeeeeetttiiinnngggsss tttooo AAALLLLLL BBBeeelllooovvveeeddd iiinnn GGGlllooorrryyy!!! The brand

new year of 2017 has come in with a roar, and many of us are

simply just trying to keep up with all of the transition and

“reset” going on in this world and in the Body of Christ.

Strategically, 2017 on our civil calendar (which began

January 1st) coincides with a significant Kingdom year of

“5777” on our Biblical calendar, such as Israel follows.

5777 is Israel’s year of jubilee, celebrating 50 years of

undivided Jerusalem since Israel’s Arab challenge of the 6th Day war on June 5, 1967. Praise God for the new

possibilities this year of our Lord! Even as Israel is “reset” in alignment with God’s heart and purposes, so

also the time has come to “reset” things in our own Kingdom lives. It’s time to “reset” our focus on what is

truly important in life, and embrace the shift that God has radically accelerated and thrust upon this

generation.

Like many of you, we at GCMI met with persistent challenges on many fronts in 2016. We faced,

unforeseen health challenges, financial and internal ministry challenges--challenges on the national front with

our recent presidential election this past November, and global challenges forcing us to see that the world is

spiraling out of control.

Thank God for the Prophet Daniel’s vision. In the Book of Daniel

Chapter 7 and verse 21-22, Daniel saw in his vision, the heat of the

battle between the saints of almighty God and the satanic system.

Everything possible was coming up against God’s people in his vision

and Daniel himself needed divine interpretation of the matter he was

envisioning. The Lord released this magnificent word of victory for

the saints, who will ultimately overcome every act of resistance the

powers of evil unleash. Our God is “El Elyon” the God “Most

High” who reigns forever more! He is always a very present help in

the time of trouble. And, when it is all said and done, no matter

what the day brings. . .”Keep Praising God!” The triumph is ours

“guaranteed” by the power of the Holy Spirit through our Lord

Jesus Christ!

May apostolic reality in the wisdom of God prevail in us in everyway

in 2017! Hallelujah Lord! Let us go up this mountain together

this year and take back every dominion God has promised to us!

Declaring thy Kingdom “HAS” come in power & grace!

Always in His service,

GGGCCCMMMIII 222000111666 HHHiiiggghhhllliiiggghhhtttsss!!!

The first half of the year went very fast-paced as I counted down to my time of surgery in July 2016. We

launched the “School of the Prophets” in January last year and several fundamental teachings were released

on the now prophetic order in an “apostolic” age. We examined the role of the prophets in today’s modern

times. Apostle Patricia Porter (Oil & Wine International, Ft. Smith, Arkansas) was with us here in

Baltimore, MD ministering throughout the region for several months in a row in 2016.

Along with our regular GCMI scheduling, Ap. Pat and I ministered together in

February for Pastor Bertha Coleman Hawkins (The Answer Outreach,

Wilmington, DE) and facilitated an Apostolic Roundtable in March for

Ap. Carolyn Fields in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

April & May were power-packed months that included our annual Passover

Seder and National Day of Prayer events. However, this year also included our

participation in the apostolic ordination of Ap. Devaughan Moore (Greater

Refuge Ministries Int’l., Clinton, MD); the wedding of Donte & DenaJa Ewing

(son/daughter-in-law of Ap. Tonya Green) and the hosting of our annual

Apostolic Conclave for leaders studying the apostolic and prophetic restoration

upon today’s church. A brief summary of these highlights follows below.

By June, the news had come that I would

need major reconstruction surgery on my

foot and ankle. A date was set for July at a

very busy time for us. We had two

graduations -- my son, Justin Isaiah Phillips.

graduated from Pikesville High School in

Pikesville, Maryland, along with one of our

Global Youth Awaking sons, AlJay Peoples on

the Eastern Shore of Maryland. What a joy it

was to see these fine young men come to this

milestone and begin their college endeavors.

Congratulations to the Class of 2016!

My foot and ankle reconstructive surgery took place on July 8th with a

one year recovery projection. Many will remember that I broke my foot

in 2014, which did not heal properly after fracture. I moved on it for a

while, setting out again in full-force travel and ministry until significant

damage was done, forcing me into surgery...Mercy Lord!

To-date, I am still recovering in a booted cast with limited mobility on a

scooter. Gradually, I will be released back to full walking capacity again.

Moving into July, Pastor Cheryl Swearinger on the GCMI Core Team married Mr. Freddie Walker on the

Eastern Shore. She is now on sabbatical. Additionally on the Eastern Shore, Mrs. Elina Peoples (who

worked with our GYA youth), came through a physical challenge last year and is recovering well now. We

thank the Lord for his goodness and bless them both in all of their new endeavors.

GCMI hosted its annual

Apostolic Conclave here in the

Washington gate last May,

directly following the National

Day of Prayer on Capitol Hill.

The Conclave is a unique teaching and dialogue strategy, connecting leaders and

facilitating Bible study of apostolic and prophetic concepts, a time of worship and

sharpening one another.

We studied the contemporary roles of Apostles & Bishops in the Church Today.

In addition to our regional team, our associates from California, Delaware, New

Jersey, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Uganda all participated. Special thanks to all of

our co-laboring leaders and to Ap. Tonya Greene (Restoration City, Baltimore,

MD) for opening her doors to the needs of the GCMI family for the weekend.

John 1:29 – “And John saw Jesus coming toward him and shouted:

Now behold the Lamb who takes away the sins of the world!’’ (NKJV)

GCMI is a “One New Man” ministry in heart, according to the Apostle

Paul’s teaching in Ephesians 2:15--where both Jew and Gentile are one

people before God in his eternal Kingdom. We embrace our Biblical Hebrew

roots and honor the history of God’s people from the very beginning of the

Bible. GCMI has found wisdom in understanding the connection between

the historical Jewish people, the Land of Israel and the New Testament Church of today. It all comes

together in the revelation of the shed Blood of Jesus Christ as our “Passover Lamb” and perfect eternal

sacrifice.

GCMI’s co-laboring leader—Prophet Rose Gervasi ,

(WorshipKeepers International Ministries),

hosted this year’s Seder celebration in

Newton, New Jersey. More than 80

people attended with great diversity—a

perfect demonstration of the Lord’s Body

both Jew and Gentile, Black & White.

Dr. Phillips released a powerful teaching on

the “One New Man” reconciliation entitled:

“Echad” the Hebrew word for “one”. She ministered on the various walls of

division in the church today and God’s command for reconciliation, without regard

for race, gender, social class or ethnicity. Messianic Rabbi Gary Fishman (The Sanctuary

Fellowship, Bronx, New York) led the wonderful Haggadah service for the fellowship with much joy in the

Lord. Shalom!

With Dr. Phillips continued recovery, all of her international travel was halted

indefinitely and disappointingly. But, God heard her prayers to keep global “feet” in

service to the mission field last year. GCMI’s Jr. Core Team member and budding

missionary,

Min. Kiana Veneble was strategically

launched to Ethiopia in East Africa to

work with noted Messianic leader,

Dr. Jonathan Burnis, President of

Jewish Voice International Ministries & Television. Min. Kiana,

(a labor & delivery nurse by profession), was placed on their recent

medical team which hosts annual medical clinics in Hosanna,

Ethiopia. She served the poorest-of-poor and rejected in the

nation--the Ethiopian Jews. In fact, many Israeli scholars

believe that the Ethiopian Jews are one of the oldest tribes in

the earth and one of the ten lost tribes recorded in our Bible.

The clinic served more than 1,500 people each day and Min. Kiana worked tirelessly in the power of the Holy

Spirit, enduring heat, geographical elevations and a limiting rural situation where the clinic was located. She

tended to the sick and prayed for all who desired so, showing the Ethiopian community the endearing love of

Jesus Christ. PTL! What a privilege for her to serve the Lord in his global end-time harvest in the nation of

Africa and the Ethiopian Jews.

This year. GCMI celebrated their millennial-age children (ages 2-25) years old for the

holiday. A power-packed day, the children were taught the true meaning of Christmas

with a correlation to the

celebration of

Hanukkah and the

Feast of Tabernacles

occurring in late

September/October more likely the time of

Christ’s actual birth. The children saw a

humorous U-tube clip telling the story of Jesus’ birth, and were taught the seven continents and how to pray

for this generation around the world. A strong anointing came upon each child as they received prophetic

prayer and anointing with holy oil. Joy was released as customized gift bags with toys, books, crayons,

markers, sweets, fruits and other fun things were given to each child. We also honored three of our

millennial-age single mothers, in acknowledgment of all they do to uphold their children in the love of Christ.

GCMI stands “shoulder-to-shoulder” in several key prayer assignments each year.

Some of this prayer movement is highlighted as follows:

NNNaaatttiiiooonnnaaalll DDDaaayyy ooofff PPPrrraaayyyeeerrr –– GCMI’s stand with the National Day of

Prayer was solid this year as Dr. Phillips, brought a diverse international team

of intercessors to Capitol Hill to pray for our nation at a most critical time.

This year, Dr. Phillips was asked to release a word to all of the participating

prayer teams in the Cannon Prayer Watch, (hosted by Mrs. Sara Ballenger,

Founder/Director, Capitol Hill Prayer Partners, Washington, DC) on behalf

of Mrs. Shirley Dobson, Chairman, NDP. Dr. Phillips released a timely

message to the prayer shield intercessors on America’s call to repentance and

the many issues plaguing this global generation today.

Next, the Capitol Region National Day of Prayer

(CRNDP), Dr. Corinthia Boone, Executive

Director. CRNDP is an outdoor assembly on the

west lawn of the U.S. Capitol. The CRNDP

prayer event unites pastors, ministry leaders and

congregations throughout the region, with some

national/international representation as well.

CRNDP is a diversified, inter-denominational

gathering, uniting the Body of Christ in prayer

for the nation. (For info see www.crndp.org) __________________________________________________________________
