Registration Pre-registration is available online at https://zone4.ca/reg.asp?id=12976 and closes Thursday, October 6, at 11:45pm. There is an early bird discount of $5 if you register by Monday, October 5 at 11:45pm. Registration Fee:

Saturday: $35 Sunday: $35 Both races: $65 U19: -$10 Kids race: FREE!

License Check License check will be held under the ABA tent, beginning at 9am. All riders must sign on at registration on race day with a valid ABA or UCI license 15 minutes prior to category start time. Failure to bring your license may result in a $10 fine. Race Numbers Bring your ABA cyclocross body numbers. If you don’t have them yet, you can get them at the race from the ABA. Numbers placement is one body number lower right back and two shoulder numbers Bikes The ABA follows UCI International rules when it comes to the type of bike you can ride in a cross race. For Men’s Expert and Open you will need a cyclocross bike. For Men’s Novice and all Women’s categories you can use a mountain bike. Please remove any unnecessary bells & whistles during the race. Pit zone In the mechanical zone you can leave spare wheels, bikes, or anything else you might need. Make sure you label your stuff and collect it after your race.

First Aid First aid will be located at a tent near the parking lot. Any emergencies will be taken to the Royal Alex Hospital. Race Schedule Saturday, October 8 10:30 am Sign-on opens, course open for training 11:30 am Novice Men (40min) 12:30 pm Sport men (40min) 1:30 pm Sport Women (40min) 2:30 pm Expert men (50min) 3:45 pm Kids race (5-15min)

4:15 pm Open women (40min) 5:15 pm Open men (60min) Sunday, October 9 9:00 am Sign-on opens, course open for training 10:00 am Novice Men (40min) 11:00 am Sport men (40min) 12:00 pm Sport Women (40min) 1:00 pm Expert men (50min) 2:00 pm Course open for training2:15 pm Open women (40min) 3:15 pm Open men (60min) Call-ups will be done in all categories based on UCI points, then Alberta Cyclocross Cup standings. Riders shall assemble in the call-up zone 10 minutes before the start The course will be open during the scheduled times and between races at the Commissaires discretion. The ABA and the organizer may shorten races and/or alter the course dependent on weather, time delays and combine categories if necessary. Please know your start time.

Regulations This event will be run according to ABA/CCA/UCI regulations. Riders are responsible for knowing and understanding the rules. They are available online. Course The course is located in a public park. Please expect people to cross the course during warm-up. Be courteous and slow down. Marshalls will direct the public during the race but not all areas can be controlled. The organizer reserves the right to change the course based on weather and safety of the riders.

Rider Ammenities There will be portapotties available near the start/finish. There will be a BBQ and Beer Gardens located in a prime viewing location at the end of club row. We hope that you will stick around and enjoy. Tickets can be purchased for $5 on zone4 or on site, which will get you a burger, pop, and cookie. The beer gardens will be open on Saturday only, and will cost $5.

Awards Podium presentations will be done as soon as possible after each race, but we hope that you will stick around to watch, cheer, and heckle all your friends in the following races! This race will award Alberta Cyclocross Cup series & upgrade points to the Top 8 finishers according to points schedule B. Location Fulton Park (53.547620, -113.438215) On Fulton Drive, near the junction of Wayne Gretzky Dr and 106 Ave. Parking Please do not park right on Fulton Dr, near the course. It is a busy area with residents right across the street and we want to be invited back. We will have a drop off area where you can drop off your stuff and set up at your team tent. If you require a space for your team tent, please register for it on zone4. After dropping your stuff off, please park at Hardisty School (not the pool), the Fulton community league, or St. Gabriel School. CXAlberta There is an opportunity to support CXAlberta on zone4 and at the BBQ and Beer Gardens.
