2016 Twin Lakes CSA Shares Early Spring
May Produce and Pantry Share $46 Thursday, date determined by weather (1 week)
Box includes nature’s earliest sweet, tender spring offer-
ings such as: rhubarb, radishes, scallions, greens, spinach.
Plus sustainably harvested/wild-crafted items from our
woodlands: asparagus, ramps (wild leeks), wild garlic,
watercress, mint, etc. Also included will be a few surprise
pantry treats. One of the most popular boxes of the year!
May Morel Mushrooms $9 per ¼ lb. Thursday, date determined by weather (1 week)
One of the rarest, most sought-after, and most delectable
food treasures anywhere! These early spring delicacies can
be elusive. In five of the last six years, all CSA mushroom
orders have been fulfilled. But since nature doesn’t always
provide ample quantities, morel orders must be paid for
with a separate check. Checks will not be cashed unless
the mushrooms are delivered! (1st come, 1st served)
Maple Syrup $9 per pint $16 per quart Delivered in May and November
The farm community’s woodlands are full of maple trees.
No pesticides or chemicals are used on the trees, nor is the
forest exposed to runoff. Every step of the processing is
done by hand; sap is boiled over a wood-fired evaporator,
creating a deeply flavorful syrup.
Seedlings, Plants, & Hanging Baskets Delivered in May and Late Summer to limited dropsites

Twin Lakes CSA (Community Supported Agriculture)
A direct relationship between farmers & consumers
A CSA is based on the simple principle of connect-
ing people to their local food source. As a member,
you enter into a partnership dedicated to bringing
fresh, organically raised produce directly from our
fields to your table.
Twin Lakes CSA farms are a group of small family
farms located within a quiet Amish community
near Mora, MN; an area of rolling pastures, organic
fields and small lakes.
Making a living on the land, farming in harmony
with nature, and working together daily as a family
are all values we cherish. We consider it a privilege
to work collectively as farmers for the common
good, and as stewards of the land that we intend to
pass along to our children.
Our organic & heritage farming practices are pure,
simple, low waste, and low energy. We farm by
hand and horse power, heirloom seed-save, gently
and faithfully care for our land and animals. No
GMO’s, chemicals, pesticides, hormones, no pollu-
tion; rarely even the sound of a motor!
Pure farming = pure food!
Most of all, in the true CSA spirit, we want you to
feel connected. To the safe, pure food you eat.
To the rich, local soil where it was grown. To the
family farm way of life. And to us.
