Snow tubing hours are 1 pm to 9:30 pm. Note: Perfect North observed holidays are Christmas break 12/21 to 1/1. Martin Luther King Day 1/18/16 and 1/16/17. President’s Day 2/15/16 and 2/20/17. Brunch at Grandpa’s Wurst Haus for 15 Couples - October 30, 2016 NOTE: This gift will be awarded to the first 15 couples signing up on the bid sheet. Limit 2 couples (4 people) per person.

Gus and Nancy Hillenbrand and Bill and Denise Hillenbrand invite you to Grandpa’s Wurst Haus in Enochsburg, IN. This brunch will be hosted on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. As guests arrive they will be offered an assortment of beverages including Bloody Mary cocktails and Mimosas. Guests will then be given a tour of the sausage and soup area continuing on through to the new gourmet kitchen area. Guests will dine from a menu that consists of ‘made to order’ omelets or eggs, homemade breakfast sausage and goetta, waffle station, bacon, country ham, assorted fruits, biscuits and gravy. The cost is $125.00 per couple.

Pontoon Ride on Lake Santee for 8 with Dinner Enjoy dinner for eight at The Sea Shack Restaurant at Lake Santee (on the deck overlooking the lake with the sun going down) and a pontoon ride with refreshments afterwards. Pontoon ride to take place on a mutually agreeable date.

Hummel Figurine - Madonna with Child and Biography of Berta HummelThis beautiful white glazed seated Madonna with the child Jesus on her lap is from the collection of Sr. Mary Gonsalva Wiegand, an Oldenburg Franciscan who was a Professor of Latin and German at Marian University. Her interest in the life and artistic talent of Berta Hummel (Sr. Maria Innocentia) was coupled with a growing collection of Hummel figurines and cards. Her book “Sketch Me, Berta Hummel!” tells the story of Berta Hummel and her pictures which speak of fine art and of the love and understanding of children. In German the word “hummel” means “bumble-bee”. The bee became the signature of her drawings.
