• Designed, developed & executed a new comprehensive Replex Aquatic Emergency Action plan for indoor & outdoor pools.
• Lead project manager in converting Replex’s membership / program database to Daxko Operations by May 2014. This project was done under Daxko’s fast track program and was completed one week prior to launch.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) achieved. • Organized & led staff / volunteers to raise & $10,000 in contributions for Replex’s first full Wellness for
Life Annual Campaign. Proceeds from this campaign allow Replex to offer financial assistance to those who face economic hardship.
• Assist Executive Director with planning / organizing Replex’s annual Reverse Raffle event to benefit Replex’s financial assistance program.

• Accountable for opening (Nov. 13, 2011) and overseeing an aquatic center that included a warm water recreation/therapy pool and an eight lane competition pool in a newly constructed $16 million YMCA.
• Recruited, trained/retrained and certified 35-40 staff members in American Red Cross lifeguarding and YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor.
• Coordinated monthly in-services and staff meetings with all lifeguard and swim instructor staff. • Developed pool schedules consistent with member and program needs. • Collaborated with Memorial Hospital Sports Care to provide adequate scheduled usage for their clients in
therapy pool. • Between January-May 2012, Kerasotes aquatic program staff had instructed approximately 750
participants (infants-adults) to swim using the YMCA swim lesson curriculum. • Between November 2011-May 2012, trained and certified approximately 70-75 new lifeguard/lifeguard
instructors. • Developed and implemented a detailed aquatic emergency action plan. Also, collaborated with branch
professional staff to develop and implement a full branch emergency action plan.
• Developed a departmental staff manual that included the following: • Employment requirements. • Employee policies & procedures. • Emergency action plan. • Pool rules. • New Employee Orientation.
• 2012 Strong Kids Kerasotes Branch Employee Campaign Chairman. Under my leadership, professional staff and their teams raised $6,774 in employee contributions.
• Collaborated with the Springfield YMCA Association Development Director in developing a comprehensive strategy for effectively raising Strong Kids Campaign contributions.
• Collaborated daily with aquatic maintenance supervisor to ensure all aquatic center codes and laws set forth by the State of Illinois Department of Public Health were followed properly.
• Accountable for all aquatic programs and associated budgets that totaled $100,000 in net revenue.

• Restructured facility rentals and fees to maximize usage of the facility.
• Officially integrated Adventure Guides program into YMCA operations. • Restructured swim lessons using YMCA of the USA’s curriculum resulting an increase in participation
from 50 youth and adults in 2004 to 800 + youth and adults in 2010. This growth saw a 350% increase in revenue within that time.
• Integrated character development and the YMCA mission into all aquatic/sports programming. • Collaborated with local private schools, day cares & neighborhood initiatives to bring YMCA Swim
Lessons to an additional 100 children within the community. • Coordinate with the local school district to provide a facility for 10 special needs students to swim per
school year since 2004. • Train over 55 participants each year in Lifeguarding/Lifeguarding Instructor classes.
• Serve as the Bloomington/Normal YMCA technology officer and webmaster. • Co-director of the transition of membership & program software to Daxko Operations in spring of 2011.
• Develop pool schedules consistent with facility and member needs.
• Exceeded Strong Kids Campaign team goal for 2008 & 2010 with 100% staff participation.
