OPPORTUNITY FOR EXPANDED COMMUNICATION

• North Attleboro is always looking for ways to improve communication with residents

• Increasing popularity of smartphones and tablets• Challenge of email as form of communication (how

many unread emails do you currently have?)• Hectic lives put pressure on alarms, reminders and

notifications• Many other forms of communication are not proactive

(Facebook, town website) and rely on someone checking in

RESULTS & OBSERVATIONS

• Only costs $3,000 per year. We paid $1,000 set up fee (first year only). Renewed for second year

• Planning to add Waste Guide in Q2 2016• 868 residents signed up representing 773 unique

households (10.4% penetration)• Very positive feedback from residents. Many have

become used to notifications and appreciate reminders for less frequent collections such as Yard Waste

• Ongoing outreach needed• Awarded certificate for

“Innovation & Creativity” thanks to integration of Remyndr into town communications
