Introduction This report describes the results of research conducted in 2016 to fulfill first year assessment requirements for Licence 023125M (Figure 2). The work consisted of researching assessment reports, compiling exploration and geological data found and producing a report with accompanying maps of geological, geochemical and geophysical data. Property Location/Access The Frenchman’s Head property is located on the Connaigre Peninsula, south coast of Newfoundland, approximately 20 km east of the community of Hermitage. (NTS map sheet 1M/12) Access to the area is via the Bay d'Espoir highway (Route 360) and the Gaultois road (Route 364). The Licence 023125M consists of one block consisting of 4 claims on NTS 01M/12(figure 1) and has UTM coordinates beginning at the Northeast corner of the herein described parcel of land, and said corner having UTM coordinates of 5 276 000 N, 594 000 E; of Zone 21; thence South 1,000 metres, thence West 1,500 metres, thence North 1,000 metres, thence East 1,500 metres to the point of beginning. All bearings are referred to the UTM grid, Zone 21. NAD27

Regional and local Geology Rocks of the Connaigre Group are correlative with rocks of the Long Harbour Group, all presumed to be Precambrian in age. These are intruded by igneous rocks of the Hermitage Complex and by an intrusion of granite (Straddling granite). To the east, the late Precambrian Hermitage - Connaigre Bay assemblage, and the presumed correlative Long Harbour Group, are intruded by Upper Devonian - Lower Carboniferous homogeneous granitic plutons, the Pass Island, Harbour Breton, and Belleoram stocks. Mineralized andesites and rhyolites of the Long Harbour Group are assigned to the Avalon Zone. The relatively undeformed rocks of the Avalon Zone are juxtaposed against deformed granitic rocks of the Gander Zone along the Hermitage Bay Fault. The Property is underlain by rocks of the Connaigre Bay Group comprising siliciclastic, mafic tuffs, mafic volcanic rocks, including thick massive flows and coarse-grained agglomerates of both andesitic and basaltic composition, interlayered with rhyolite flows and felsic fragmental rocks. These rocks unconformable overlie the Tickle Point Formation, comprising rhyolite flows and fine-grained, silicic pyroclastic rock, including welded and non-welded ash-flow tuffs.

Previous Exploration The Frenchman’s Head prospect was discovered in the 1960’s by NALCO. The Frenchman Head Prospect consists of disseminated, stringer and semi-massive pyrite, sphalerite and lesser chalcopyrite and galena in silicified rhyolite.

The 200 m wide unit occurs as a massive or coarsely fragmental andesite and is often altered (silicified, chloritized). Finer grained sediments of the Sam Head Formation (Connaigre Bay Group), occur to the south. The volcanics are also intruded by diorite and mafic dykes of the Hermitage Bay Complex, Ordovician in age. Several massive pyritic zones were found in this area, with fine grained andesite. The andesite is often sheared, cut by calcite stringers, chloritized and may contain 5 to 50 percent pyrite, less than 5 percent chalcopyrite and also have rare specks of sphalerite. Early work by NALCO included geochemical and geophysical surveys, trenching and drilling (packsack and AXT) (Pickands Mather, 1965). Highlights from the drilling include intersections of 18.6 m grading 2.2% Zn, including 2 m grading 7.46% Zn. Even though significant drill intersections of zinc, copper and lead, were found in the Frenchman Head lead-zinc occurrence, most of the drill holes that intersect mineralization were drilled at a poor angle to test a stratabound target. In 1984, geochemical soil sampling was conducted in the area around Frenchman Head resulted in zinc anomalies. Drilling by Noranda of the coincident geophysical and geochemical anomaly along strike of the Frenchman’s Head Prospect, returned an intersection of 8m grading 2.26% Zn and 1.3 troy ounces/ton Ag, including 2 m grading 6.49% Zn and 1.6 troy ounces/ton Ag (Graves, 1986).

The mineralization has been outlined over an area about 150 m long by about 50 m wide and occurs in possibly two or three sub-horizontal zones, all of which are less than 50 m below surface. Higher grade sections (greater than 3% Zn) typically occur in the lower or central zone if more than one zone was intersected. The mineralization appears to be open to the west and to the east-northeast and may be limited by a fault to the east. Conclusion The Frenchman Head property requires more drilling due the mineralization appears to be open to the west and to the east-northeast.
