Head Coach Tripp SwisherFirst Season at MidwayLiberty University
First-year coach Tripp Swisher has spent the last four years working in college athletics. He served as head volleyball coach at Union University during the 2013 and 2014 seasons. Prior to Union, he was an assistant volleyball coach at the University of Memphis. Swisher also coached at the club and high school level in the Memphis area since 2001.
In addition to his volleyball coaching experience, Swisher has also established himself as a leader in baseball. He spent four years playing for the varsity team at Evangelical Christian School in Cordova, Tenn. where he received all-district and all-region honors and served as team captain during his senior season. After hanging up his cleats, he continued to stay involved with the sport by coaching and officiating youth baseball and softball.
