CRKT ® is releasing the Valhalla and Bushido pendants designed by Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical. Inspired by Vikings and Samurai warriors, the two make a statement without saying a word. The Valhalla has a scale pattern that is modeled after those found on Viking ships and weapons. It also features a dragon motif that was a powerful Viking symbol of war and power and was used to strike fear into the hearts of enemies. The Bushido is inspired by Samurai warriors and their seven virtues: integrity, respect, heroic courage, honor, compassion, honesty and loyalty. As a kid, Johnson immersed himself into the Samurai and Viking worlds—reading about them, collecting their swords, and learning their culture. He felt that the great sense of honor that those communities held is seen today in our own warrior community. He wanted to make something warrior-minded people could wear that helped them identify with these great periods in history. You’ve always been a warrior on the inside.
