PreVisit
those are some good resources!
PreVisit – phonecall/emailnotes
Call ahead to let them know you are coming! YOU AND THE SCHOOL set the date of the previsit.
The previsit is very busy – you should plan for a full day and possibly come in the evening before.
www.sais.org/acc_previsit_note
PreVisit – suggestedschedule
Suggested Previsit schedule. Make sure that you have read all of the school’s responses to standards prior to arrival.
With an aggressive schedule like this, you need to be very well prepared.

“The absence of these documents may delay the accreditation process”
This phrase is now in the Guidebook and in the Portal about documents and artifacts that should be present in order to substantiate that a school meets standards. Let the school know what docs or evidence they are missing so that you can see it.

VISIT– scheduletemplate
Revised schedule template suggests building in time for conversations among team members to come to consensus on standards and on commendations/recommendations.
Still, a very busy time!

VISIT– trainingyourteam
You lead your team through a presentation to train them. Usually this is done at the start of the visit during the first two hours. You are welcome to use technology to conduct this meeting before people arrive on site (goto meeting, google hangout, zoom meeting, skype, there are many web conferencing tools)
• USE THE POWERPOINT
• USE THE SCRIPT

VISIT– teamassignments
Team members are assigned to match up with the school’s strategic goal areas (as best as possible). If you can’t tell a team member’s areas of expertise or interest from their title, just ask them. In addition to goal areas, assign team members standards for due diligence.
