The Seattle Art Museum is proud to present Intimate Impressionism from the National Gallery of Art (in Washington, DC). The collection is comprised of extraordinary paintings, considered to be the jewels of one of the finest collections of French Impressionism in the world. The exciting, fun-filled event features lion dances, marching bands, parade floats, martial arts performances, cultural dance troupes, firecrackers, and more. The parade includes over 3,000 people from various cultural and community groups in Vancouver, and also features the largest congregation of lion dance teams in Canada. The colourful and energetic lions are just one of the many highlights of the parade each year attracting more than 50,000 spectators annually. This tour features parade route viewing on Main Street away from the crowded Millennium Gate on Pender Street. This entertaining tour features three distinctly different dog shows on the Amazing DogsStage at the 2016 Pet Lovers Show at Tradex Exhibition Centre in Abbotsford. Enthusiasticdogs demonstrate their speed and agility as they negotiate their way over, under and through a series of challenging obstacles in the Amazing Dogs Championship. Canadian K-9's highly skilled dogs exhibit their detection skills used in search and rescue missions and in the detection of narcotics and explosives. Pacific Assistance Dogs display helping people with disabilities other than blindness, e.g. mobility impaired, agility impaired and provide their partners with a “new leash on life”. Take free time to explore the Pet Lovers Show's 120,000 sq.ft. of exhibits displaying a wide variety of domestic and exotic pets. This tour includes admission, reserved seating at the Amazing Dog Stage and a delicious lunch at Tanglebank Gardens in Abbotsford.
